I had another camera in my Amazon cart for a few hours and because of this review, I emptied the cart and purchased the V3. Great review. Thank you man!!!!!!!!!!
2 years too late, but awesome review!! Purchasing this camera and having the smart harness kit put into my Mustang in a few days. Thank those sweet, beautiful girls for their assistance with this review as well!
Excellent review. But I came to notice that u have an additional rear camera on ur rear windshield. Which camera is that ? And hw did u set up two seperate cameras like this ? I am sure that the rear one is seperate unit. Please explain. I would like to have this set up in my car. One front camera, cabin camera & rear camera
Sorry to say this. Not trying to give a negative comment. But wanted to get your attention that I think you forgot to review the ADAS feature & Parking monitor feature. Pls include that in a new video. I would like to know about those features too
Thanks for posting this. One of the most thorough reviews I’ve seen for any product. I currently have a V1 Gen 3 model, but am looking to upgrade and put that one in my wife’s car. Are the hardwire kits the same for both models? Thanks in advance.
Nice review I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on a dash cam for Ubering in your opinion between this one and the vanture pro which would you recommend would like a WiFi option thanks will use your link on either
I saw an option for wifi on the camera you reviewed but you didn't go into that option. Does this camera automatically backup videos while say parked in your driveway overnight? If so, where to? (Google Photos, Apple Cloud, extra service offer manufacturer, etc.) That is something I have been wanting so I don't have to deal with the hassle of taking out the card each time I want to back something up.
No it is SD card based. No cloud. Wifi is just for viewing content on your mobile device. Personally, I like to just take out the Sd card and use my computer. Quicker.
I have been looking for a dual dash cam that I could use to live stream on twitch. Do you know if the Rexing V3 is capable of doing that? Or if any dual dash cam has that ability? Thank you for the great video!
Since it uses a Super Capacitor IT Can withstand higher and lower operating temperatures. What GoPro are you using? I remember having some overheating issues back when I was using a Hero 3+black and my Hero 4 but it happened less when I didn’t use the underwater housing and on the new er 5’s without the housing I’ve never ran into any overheating. Are you using a housing with yours?
That's the downside of gopros. They overheat fast! I am thinking of replacing my gopro 5 with this camera since it's a decent price. This camera -20F and a high temp of 176F. The gopro can only go around 30F and a high of 125F.
@@EverydayReviews2022 I hope they come up with a OBD "hard wire" kit at Rexing, easier than hardwiring with the fuse tap to the fusel panel area. I think Vantrue & Blackvue have the OBD kits atm.
Hi mate How do you like this one compare to the Vantrue N2 Pro you reviewed? I’m looking for dual dash cam that can record both front and cabin view The downside of the Vantrue N2 Pro is that the GPS has to be purchased separately. This one also has Wifi and phone apl which is great, but I’ve seen amazon reviews that says it doesn’t works well. How’s your experience so far? I’m considering between these 2 dual dash cam.
WI-FI and App can be a little spotty at times which is not an issue for me because I never use them. If I want to see anything, I just take the card out. I do like the GPS and the software. Great for location and speed.
One of the best videos. I'm thinking of buying one. What's the difference between the v3 and v2 ? What size SD card do you recommend? Cute kids by the way. Thanks
Not a good idea to have an inside rear view camera if you don't carry passengers. It just gives the police and insurance companies evidence if you happen to be distracted and cause an accident. Same thing with having your GPS speed noted in your videos
Got this a few months ago and my bff had an accident Monday someone hit her and ran. Thank God we have this in the car. No major damage but she has whiplash.
Great review! Detailed and easy to follow. Does anyone know whether you can switch to just front camera on 1080p 30fps or less? I don't always require the inwards facing camera. Also does this mean you get two separate files when you've recorded with both cameras? Never had a dashcam...
I had this thing in my cart but I needed to be able to mount it via suction cup or rear view mirror. I work in different vehicles and I need to take it from vehicle to vehicle. I can't glue it to my windshield. Stupid dash cam companies LOL thanks for the video by the way
Is it possible to make a comparison video of Vantrue N2 Pro VS Rexing V3 ? You seem like the only person on UA-cam who reviewed both of them and that's the video WE ALL NEED, I'm sure: image comparison, night time comparison, audio, etc... At first glance it seems like Rexing V3 has a better image, and better overall (but there's some weird high pitch static in this video though...) but it would be nice to have a single video to see the difference. Thank you.
I will try. It’s just a matter of time. Hi m so behind on reviews right now and the holiday season doesn’t help. One thing that does suck though is UA-cam compression degrades all uploaded video.
Hello, I just watched this entire video hoping to hear if, while in parking mode w the G sensor on sensitive, the interior camera will automatically turn on if someone were to break into the cabin. Thank you!
Excellent review. Just purchased a new V3+ off Ebay for just under $100. I should also point out, one of my friends owns a fleet of them, and he says their pretty much bullet proof. I'm sold! Thank you for helping me decide!
Depends if you want GPS and if you live in a hotter climate. The Rexing has GPS and super capacitor. The Vantrue is more compact and I like the mount better than the Vantur but it doesn't have built in GPS like the Rexing. Hope that helps :)
@Everyday Reviews how is the app to check your videos? Is it good? I see a lot of bad reviews on this camera. People complain about the screen falling off in hot temperatures
I have the V3 camera dual and I was wondering can I only record in loop recording or can I turn it off to continuously record I drive lyft And I wanna record every ride that I have and I don't know how to do that and how to save it and how to look at it or how to view what I recorded if I hit off instead of loop recording what happens
You can only loop record. It will still record all of your drive but just break it into 1,3 or 5 min loops so you just have lots of small files. It won't overwrite your clips until your SD card is full
Thank you for doing this so much! I bought the camera and was a little lost on some settings. I really wish they would include a suction mount with this camera, but otherwise it's great for functionality!
I love this camera. Records amazing video. Now I have one question. Under Loop Recording, if you switch that to off, does that mean it can constantly record without stopping every 1 to 3 minutes?
Looks pretty good. I just don't understand why they always put the inside camera on the "right" side. It should be on the left side for encounters with law enforcement. You wouldn't even be able to see the officer unless they approached from the passenger side window. That's what is missing in many of these cameras as I search for the right cam. Thanks for the review. Well done, for sure.
Does not have Motion Detection however. It does have parking mode, where the gravity/g sensor detects an impact & will record if you hooked up the hardwire kit.
The Rexing is more full featured. Built in GPS. Super capacitor. One thing I like on the Vantrue though is that the power cable plugs into the mount, not into the camera so it’s a little easier to take the camera off and on if you need to. I also like the bigger screen if the Rexing. Getting old so bigger is better😜
Prolly a ignoramus question but I drive a truck is there a way this cam or any other cam would allow family to view the camera live as if I was in an interesting place could they watch? TIA
I like the screen size of this one and it also has built in gps whereas the N2 doesn’t not. I do like the mounting on the N2 better than the Rexing though. Especially if you’re taking it off often.

Same. And because of this comment i went ahead and bought one at target hehe
Glad to hear they are implementing supercapacitor already instead of lithium batteries ❤️

Luv the wifi feature
This is a great review. Well done. Well organized. Thank you.
Wonderful review. Look forward to your next review.
Best review I've come across so far. Thanks!
Can we connect additional rear camera to the external camera port? Website shows it will not support..

The ir lights is too noticeable. Ride-share cars might want the camera to not be so obvious.

Thank you sir for all your information you are dead on
Would have been cool if you touched on the wifi capability. Remote download and viewing footage.
I can’t pair rexin3 to my iPhone. Anybody? Had luck hooking up and downloading videos to your are in app.
How do u lock a video thats important for future downwnload rigjtvaftervit recorded instead of pulling over and reviewing?
What’s the app called so I can look at the footage through my phone ?
It’s called Rexing Connect.

How bout night? In cabin
Does it comes with a SD card ? Just open the box and it doesn’t seems to come with it
No it does not.
Been looking for one
How’s the mobile app connectivity? Is the software for an iPhone or Android good and easy to use?
Thanks for the video!
Can I run it off a Micro USB for the power supply?
Does it download video from wifi tethering or both has to be connected to one wifi thanks
Can you load videos on your cell phone using WiFi?
thank you
Great review, thank you.
I still can connect to my phone tru wifi 😒
HOW DO YOU TURN OFF AIRPLANE MODE IN WIFI IN THIS DASH CAM. ?
No parking mode demo ?
No sorry, you need to hard wire it for that. I move vehicles far too often to hardwire.
Does this over heat and shutdown like the go pro cameras ?

You mean the hardwire kit? I don’t have the hardwire kit, just the standard 12v plug.
Can you show us how i can install the smart Hardwire 😍

I can try. I’ll have to order a kit.

That is a great advice for speedsters and those who easily get distracted causing fatal accidents!
Great job, appreciate the detailed review!
I love this video very useful and specific and understandable. Thank you

Yes, if you choose to film just with the front cam, you can choose 4K or 1080 60P. When recording with both cameras, you get 2 video files.

Yes
