Omg Cam the stitcher posted a video at the same time as you with the same pattern from market! I love that! Congrats on the new opportunity for your family and good luck with the move! 🥳
I haven't been able to watch flosstube in weeks so I'm finally catching up on videos and started with yours!! I've seen some people sew scrap fabric onto the edge of their linen for the q-snap when they don't have big margins and their stitching right up on the edge. LOVE the pink fabric.
Wow sounds like you’re off on an adventure - can’t wait to hear more about it…. Perhaps in the next flosstube i watch. Currently stitching on Sing A Sampler series by Silver Creek Samplers and you’re good company while I stitch! - take care, Nic x
So glad that you ended up with enough margin on fruits of plenty! That would have been so tragic! So excited for your move and the new exciting things that will be coming your way! Love you girl!❤❤❤
Beautiful stitching as always! Good luck on your new adventure, how fun to be able to work with Sis and Mom❤❤. You’ll be somewhat closer to Branson, MO where they have a wonderful shop Cecilia’s Samplers! Love you!
What an amazing opportunity!!! So very happy for you, sending lots of good thoughts and prayers your way that everything goes as smoothly as possible for you on this new adventure. Love seeing all your projects. I also had a very short margin on a recent project, sew a small strip of fabric on to the side and that will help keep it in the q-snap.
Your haunted library is stunning. I came across your video on my feed this morning. I’m a pink lady too, I love the pink on pink, and a big fan of Jacob of MFE. Good luck with your move, I hope it goes smoothly for you. 😊
Congrats on the haunted library!! 🎉 I'm still debating on stitching it myself (a little late to the game). I completely understand almost having a heart attack when you are not sure you have/cut enough fabric. I used to serve myself and sometimes I miss the atmosphere (and the instant cash in my pocket). Then I go out to eat and see how rude people are and go...well maybe not. Stitch when you want to stitch and don't make filming a burden! Moving can be stressful and getting back into a routine. Wish you well and happy stitching!
Thank you so much!!! I’m fortune to not have dealt with many rude people in my day, but I’m sure being an owner will come with its own challenges 😂 I appreciate the kind words and encouragement ✨🌸
As always, love your gratitude segment and am very happy to hear that your hard work is paying off professionally and in your crafting too with your stitching anniversary and finish of the Haunted Library! Thanks for sharing your achievements with us!
I’m stitching the Wings of the dove too! Love your pink on pink! Mine is on be stitch me Portabella (kind of a purpley color) with DMC 3866. Thanks for sharing! Love your hair!
I ran into the same issue of having short fabric on one of my projects. I sewed (basted) a piece of scrap fabric on the side. It was much easier to manage in the Q-snap. Just pulled the seam loose when done and it was ready to fully finish.
Loving all your beautiful progress. Cam the Stitcher is enabling everyone with her tone on tone projects. What brand of magnet fabric holders do you use? I've looked for some of those magnetic ties, but usually the reviews are hit or miss. Good luck in your new endeavor!!! Have a wonderful weekend ❤
On your Fruits of Plenty stitch just sew a strip of scrap fabric to the side with the minimal margin. Than you can put it back into the Q snap and easily stitch that side.
That Haunted Library finish is stunning! And omg congratulations on the restaurant :D That is so exciting. Hopefully the move is as painless as possible (I hate moving -_-). I actually can't believe how much you get done with all that going on! You're killing it. Also thank you soooo much for the mention
Thank you so much! 💞✨ I had already filmed when you posted your first video, but I plan to do an actual shoutout next time 😂 So glad you’re making videos!
Girrrrrlllll, the pink project is so good. I know i’m biased but damn. idk what came over us but we were synced with our videos like timing and content lol 😂 love you 😙
I really need to dedicate some time for my Haunted Library instead of reading horror. I was actually looking for E940 at Michael’s today for another project so perhaps I’ll take the trouble and incorporate some more into it. I read The Dreamers in the middle of March 2020 which was a very surreal time to read it. I have to recommended That What Moves the Dead by T. Kingfisher. It’s a horror novella interpretation of The Fall of the House of Usher by Edgar Allen Poe and it’s what I wanted/thought Mexican Gothic would be!
If you have a good sense of patience, then E940 is definitely worth it! I think I just commented on your story about What Moves the Dead! I absolutely loved it! Have you read anything else by that author?
Is that Princess asleep on you little magnet? 👀 I’m debating on whether I should start her (mini version) or my own cropped version of fly me to the moon by Josephine Wall after I finish my current full coverage project in May
Book Rec: have you read anything by Darcy Coates? I love all of their books, especially the one with the ship (was it called into the deep? Or maybe down below? I always mix up my book titles lol). She’s One of my favorite horror authors. If you like crime / mystery stuff I recommend the Dublin murder squad series by Tana French. It is very slow paced and focused more on character development, I love her writing style and the vibes really pull you into the story. In the woods was one of my favorite books in 2022
it is Princess Asleep! I’m thinking it’ll be my birthday start this year 🙈 I have two full coverages already, but my sister gifted that pattern for my birthday last year so that just seems fitting.
I’ll definitely add these to my list! I’ve heard of Darcy Coates, but never read picked anything up yet. I haven’t heard of Tana French, but I’m adding the first book to my TBR now. Thank you so so much for the recommendations! ✨🌸
@@the_stitchy_veg i search on instagram and found a few people working on it. i don’t think i’ve looked on youtube yet, but I’ll let you know if i find anyone! I won’t be starting it until December probably
Man, I just love the colors on your fruits of plenty! And that's PLEEEEEENNTY of room on the border.... :P I just finished The Writing Retreat and thought it was pretty great too! Hope the move goes great! That's such a fantastic opportunity!

I’m definitely going to sew on some fabric once I get back around to this side!
Thank you!

thank you so much for the tip, Victoria! I definitely plan to do that once so get to the other side again 😊
Your organization is spot-on! I’m going to do this! Thanks for the tip!
You’re welcome! It’s cheap, easy, and keeps me from repurchasing patterns i already have 😂 (and realizing that i have so many things to work on)

The magnetic ties i got are from “Smart&Cool” on amazon! I’ve had luck with them so far.
Thank you for watching 🌸✨
Wow amazing progress on everything❤❤❤ amazing video as always. Happy Stitchy anniversary 💖
thank you, Kayli! 🌸✨
I’m not even a pink kind of girl but that fabric and floss combo…I may be converted 🤩 congrats on the restaurant!!
it’s such a gorgeous combination. Cameron really popped off on that one 😂
Thank you so much, Julia! ✨🌸
You could stitch some fabric on the short margin side of Fruits and that would make it easier to put in the q snap
Thank you, Kate! I already packed my sewing machine, but I might have to get it back out 😂
On your fruit of plenty piece sew a piece of fabric to the short side so you can put it in the Q snap better :) everything looks amazing
Thank you for the recommendation! I definitely plan to do that in June when I make my way back to that side of the project
On your Fruits of Plenty stitch just sew a strip of scrap fabric to the side with the minimal margin. Than you can put it back into the Q snap and easily stitch that side.
Thank you, Rebecca! That’ll probably be what I do in June when I get back to that side 😂
Wonko Bonko is now going into my vocabulary. Congratulations on the new opportunities!
i’m always making up phrases 🤣 i’m glad you can take something from it hahaha
Thank you, Mindy! ✨🌸

Can I ask what the rubber looking things are on the q snaps? I love your finish!
I use both silicon spool holders and magnetic cord organizers to help control the extra fabric!

Where did you get the pink cabinet
Online through the container store! It should come up in a search for “Bisley 5-drawer”
Thanks. I have a Container store near me
