I bought your Fuse block and fell in love with Blue Sea System products!! Where can I buy your products in South-Africa?? Please help!! I need some circuit breakers as shown in this ad. Many thanks. BSS are simply so great!!! Love it all!!
Can this be used regularly as an on/off switch on a circuit which powers fishfinders on a bass boat. On the website it says don’t use as a switch where high inrush currents are expected
How do I calculate the correct size circuit breaker for a 2000watt inverter and a battery bank consisting of four 6V 400aH batteries wired in series and parallel? We're designing a green house that will run off of this system. Demands include lighting, multiple thermostat driven space heaters, an automated ON/OFF water pump, and an external electric fence around the surrounding garden. I am unclear as to how I determine the circuit breaker size that best meets this system. Thanks!
Watts / Volts = amps and for breakers you want a 20% cushion. For example 2000w/12v = 166 amps times 1.2 equals 200 amps. 2000w / 24v = 83 amps times 1.2 = 100amps. Therefore on a 24v battery bank you will need a 100 amp breaker and on a 12v battery bank you will need a 200amp breaker. The same holds true with wire size which is extremely important financially because the wire size needed to run 166 amps is much much larger and more expensive than the wire size required for 83 amps. Therefore, the 24v system is optimal unless of course you have already purchased a 12v 200w inverter.
on the 187 the bolts are marked line and load... where do you hook up the battery ?
Did you find the answer Sir?
@@frantyf no, I have not been able to use it. its stupid how the manufacturer don't include NO info on how to use this
@@bestillandknowthatuaregod line to battery load to Trolling motor
@@frantyf Thank you

I think it refers to not use the on/off switch while there are currents passing otherwise it wouldn't have sense...
The 187 doesn’t show which terminal is for load and which is line. Or are they interchangeable?
I would presume the left stud is line

Hello, You will need to what size voltage you are using. Are you running them on a 12v or 24v system?
Sorry we need to know what size rather is your battery configuration. 12v or 24v. Both are options with 4 6v batteries.
