I started a UA-cam channel wanting to spread the gospel, still doing things like vlogs but being able to share my life as a teen Christian. I really just want to make sure that this is something God wants me to do/pleasing to the Lord and not of my own desires 🙏🏾💕

I’ve been having breakthroughs since I’ve surrendered to God, 9/14/23. I ask God to use me as his vessel every morning, I seek his permission with missions & goals I’m pursuing. I only want to fulfill God’s will, I have no purpose without him.
I’m 35 and pursuing an entirely different career path and it’s exciting, and sometimes nerve wracking, I put my faith and heart in his hands.
I’m praying to break generational curses and for miracles for myself and for my family. I don’t want to live paycheck to paycheck anymore, I want to retire my mother, I want to be a great wife and mother, I want to be a fruitful daughter.
I give all the glory to God.

I needed this. I was about to stop looking for this homeless lady that I have been searching for every day. I wake up and leave my apartment drive-by where I think she would have been and then before I lay down, I drive by again and see if I see her. I have not seen her in a couple of days and I’ve had been questioning myself whether I should stop looking for her. And hearing this made me realize I need patience because he may be working on other things for her and has put her in a different place and I need to be patient. I have been worried on whether she has eaten and I have also got some money from the church to give her and that’s why I have been looking for her every day.

He will change our passions & desires to match His passions & desires but we have to let that plan go. Surrender. Surrender, pray, discern. I’ve been praying and waiting for marriage restoration for years. Praying for God’s will, guidance, wisdom, His will and timing🌸
logically as far as my understanding, whatever desires are not arising from your body and are for the greater good of mankind including yourself AND they arise from the calmest state of mind possible, are god's will
That is logical but not necessarily Spiritual. You make a good point and I’ve thought the same thing, however I’m coming to learn 2 things about that mindset
1: “good” things are not always God’s things. Something can be “for the greater good” according to our own fallible human logic (like persecution or slavery unfortunately some of those peoples minds and hearts were so warped they thought the were doing good and even used the Bible to justify it! Think about Saul and his persecution of the early Christians).
2: Even things that are good and calm may simply not be what God instructed you to do. For example, Cain gave God an offering. Offerings are good right? And non violent (he gave fruits and things from his field as opposed to his brother who gave a sacrifice and sacrificing an animal could be seen as violent.), yet it was not what God asked of him and was therefore rejected.
I’m a very logical person and so I completely understand the sentiment, just want to express that even our human logic is foolishness to God and the only way to truly know is to be in intimate and consistent relationship & conversation w/ Him! Then even the things that we would logically think to do, the Holy Spirit can guide us in 😅

My biggest problem right now is smoking, I’ve been trying so so hard to quit, but I know in my spirit that I’m not trying hard enough because I know that GODS WILL is for me to stop smoking right now and I’ve prayed for Him to take the addiction away from me and to take the taste out of my mouth, but I truly believe that GOD wants me to quit smoking on my own without any help from Him and then He may Bless me
It's good that you want to stop smoking, but wanting to do it on your own is not His will. He wants you to lean on Him because your weakness is his strength
The Spirit might be willing, but the flesh is weak. God is by your side. Just continue to ignore the voices, and the temptation. You Got This❤🙏🙌
I use to be a big weed smoker. I went cold turkey. Fell short. Got back up & fell short again until I built strength to say no for longer amounts of time until I was set free completely from being to weak to say no & draw the line. Basically it was a process. But it’s wise to go cold turkey until you get it right. It shows that you made a decision to quit no matter what vs not putting real effort in. You get what I’m sayin? God bless you you got this 💯🙏🏽

I was seeking affirmation from God, at first it came through somebody I wasn’t sure if it was God using this person to affirm his will for me, but then- The affirmation came again through someone else In Such a way there was no WAY he couldn’t get the glory for making it so obvious this was his doing, his affirmation and will for my life. :)

There’s a very real possibility those (sometimes legitimate) desires may never be resurrected.
Be prepared for that.
My experience is that at age 68, I’m without family. No wife, no children, no career to look back on, nothing but ashes……
That’s what sometimes happens.
You need to be prepared for this.
