I got a new phone and it kept saying error when trying to setup password for voicemail but all you have to do is hold 1 setup the voicemail then once it’s done setup your voicemail password again and it works

Whenever I tried to check voicemail, I got the infamous "Error performing request unknown error". A simple phone restart cured it. I don't know why I just didn't try that in the first place before instantly blaming my service provider, but thanks nonetheless. lol

My voicemail stopped working when I changed my phone number
to set up password for voicemail, hold the number "1" on your keypad, that will give you a prompt to set up voicemail, set up the voicemail, then once it is done - setup your voicemail password again, and it should then work.

JUST HOLD 1 ON YOUR DIALPAD UNTIL IT CALLS YOUR VOICEMAIL THEM SET UP A PW AND THEN GO BACK TO VOICEMAIL AND TYPE IT IN
