Great video. This will be my 5th kit. Without instructions included I couldn't remember the procedure. Cheers.
That's ok mate no problem, I hope it turns out ok.
Amazing that Tony, that's a lot of work though, great job!
Not really that hard mate most of it is waiting for the fermentation, however the bottling is a pain.
I need to start brewing this
I've just started one of these tonight here in Brazil, however I did things a little differently. I also wanted to bump up the OG so I added 1 kg of DME (dried malt extract), I kg of Coopers amber LME (liquid malt extract) along with 1kg of demerara sugar. My OG came in at 1070, which is spot on to what I was hoping for. Now, all I have to do is wait for the fermentation.
When it comes to the bottling side of it, for the first time, I'm trying a 5 litre mini keg along with regular bottles and I'm very curious to see the difference between the two methods.
As an aside, I have brewed extensively in the UK and Australia, but this is my first time brewing here in Brazil and I must say the options for extract brewing here are severely limited compared to what I had in the UK.
On a side note, may I recommend you draw your liquor for testing the final gravity rather than opening up your fermenter and thus exposing the brew to oxygen and therefore oxidation, which will negatively impact the final taste.
Sounds good mate, when I make stout I usually add an extra 1kg of dark spray malt to bump it up a little
Excelente imagens 😁👏🏻👏🏻 até o próximo vídeo 🏆
Thank you very much Paulo
