I was about ready to just smash my controller when the TEKKEN gods shined their glorious light on me and let me get this PERFECT on this bastard.

SlenderGyga not sure if it’s the same now as it was when I did it years ago, but it was all about tricking his AI into a looped behavior. Side stepping before the flying laser left him without many options when at a distance.
This is helpful. I am going to attempt it now. Been fighting on 3 stars, but god dammit, this demon keeps slapping my devil arse🤣🤣

In other modes, you can play as the Devil from Tekken 2/Tekken Tag Tournament 1, but you have to transform into Devil, and that's only possible in rage mode. :/.

Seth Boyer yeah there’s a weird thing where if you get him far enough away from you and then side step into flying laser he won’t come back in.
I use it all the time. Just do flying laser when he's about to shoot the three Hadokens.

How do you unlock the 10 star difficulty for story mode?
not being funny but this does not look like 10 stars, hes much faster, technical, smarter on 10 stars plus im sure when he hits you and you block you still take a lil damage, also on 10 stars as soon as you do the devil beam in the air he runs towards you and attacks ..... if you think im talking nonsense i dare all of you to do it on 10 stars, that looked way to easy
jay r it may look easy, but in reality it was about 99% luck. There were dozens of times I performed those exact same actions and got punished hard for it. As long as you don't take a full contact hit there isn't any chip damage on block, but if he hits you solid once he can chip you. Also i think his Metsu will chip regardless so it's a damn good thing I cleared it. I guess there's no real way to prove that I did it on 10 star other then just taking it at my word. Kinda wish there was a trophy or stat tracker for it.

Useful tip against Akuma, when he charges a punch that can break your defense you want to down-back and he is gonna back away like: Haha i got you, Hmmph. I managed to beat him after several tries, i used the air laser, double air laser (to get behind the opponent) the DORE punch, the flying kick and sidestepping. Victory is not guaranteed but this movements are fundamental to beat him in 10 stars (without the down-back defense to cancel Akuma's breaker it would prove impossible).

Kazuya already is Akuma level. Oni makes no difference. Kazuya fought Akuma after a very long battle with heihachi and managed to put Akuma on his knees

Akuma is probably the world's shittiest assassin. He waited decades to enact his plan on Heihachi and Kazuya and he didn't even kill either of them
Ironically Akuma has never successfully killed anybody aside from his master Gotetsu and a random bear. Even Gouken, whom his entire villain arc for Ryu and Ken was based around, survived.
