- Drag Race UK vs The World's Pangina Heals discusses the reactions she's had from fans since leaving the show as she joins Tia Kofi and Attitude for Tea Time in association with Taimi.
Pangina also reveals that she thinks Baga Chipz will need to win a lip sync in order to win the crown and that we could be getting another series of Drag Race Thailand.

Pangina is such a quality drag Queen. The camp, the gags, the fashion, the personality, the comedy, the dancing, ughhhh she just killed it. 4 episodes and she made SUCH an impression.

Katie Hopkins is a bigot that uses the media to stoke genuine harm towards marginalized communities. And it is relevent, because I’m replying to a person who mentioned her affinity with the Tory party. As talented as Baga is, I cannot forget these things when I see her on my TV screen.

Pangina has the OG aura. Watching her felt like she was on the OG seasons. She’s legendary like Manila, Latrice, Raja and etc. but a new comer to the franchise. What an amazing queen! We’re so lucky to experience and see her on screen! And it feels so satisfying that she got the platform she deserved.
I feel like we saw what she is in the ball. She knows she’s fierce and helped - more than just helped - a competitor. She is so confident in what she’s bringing that she was wholly unafraid to assist the competition.

I NEED more Drag Race Thailand. It is hands down the best version of the franchise, from the fact that they have to still MAKE their own drag throughout the competition to the much more transparent judging to the extreme levels of camp to the extreme levels of sincerity in their interactions. I really hope Pangina is back as a judge!
I think Pangina's answers and reactions would be slightly different if she had watched the show before the interview and particularly that awkward silence. It would be interesting to hear what she would think of the edit.

I think what is more fucked up is that Blu basically did what Pangina did with Jimbo (maybe Lemon too), eliminating the biggest competition, and Pangina still got more hate after being eliminated. I don't blame either of them at all for their decisions on the show because its for TV and honestly I kinda live for the drama and the gag of it all. But there is definitely a difference in the amount of hate between Blu eliminating Pangina and Pangina eliminating Jimbo and Lemon. Its so dishearting to see some people in the fandom treat the queens this way. I am glad Pangina is doing okay. I'm sad that she couldn't go all the way, but she is definitely made her fans proud and she will always be a superstar.

I think what happens here is people see that pangina eliminates competition but she doesnt say it out loud. Her reasoning is Jimbo being the worst in a particular week's assignment. On the other hand Blu admits she is sending the strongest home.

pangina played a dirty game then flipped out and cried when the game played her. i was annoyed too when she decided to break down after being eliminated even though she did that to two queens who shouldnt have gone home PERIOD. im not one to send hate to queens but some people are more bold.
Sadly, the hatred and death threats Pangina received for sending home Lemon and Jimbo were a LOT worse than anything Blu has gotten, mostly due to racism. Tbh I'm mostly seeing love for Blu, and "yaaas play the game gurl". It's such a shame how toxic people turn on queens immediately when their white fan favs are eliminated (and NO I don't want to hear about "karma" - don't care!). We all need to be better - be angry or upset, just don't post it directly to the queens!!

I do talk about Karma myself when it comes to Pans elimination, because she eliminated her biggest threat and got eliminated as the biggest threat herself. But I really don't get why the fandom is so unterstanding towards Blu while Pangina is still getting so much hate. It is just mad! Seeing Pangina go even though she was one of the best was so sad, just as it was sad to see Jimbo and Lemon leave. They should really change the rules of this stupid game and the fandom should stop sending out hate to any queen. Besides, I'm sure many of the other girls would have done the same as Pangina, but they were just not good enough to be in the top and prove it. her strategy, at least as she explains it, is so different to what most queens would admit to on all-stars. like, acknowledging that she doesn't think lemon even deserved to be in the bottom is something i don't think i've ever seen from a queen who chose to eliminate someone. i totally respect her strategy (and blu's) but it does kinda highlight all the reasons i don't like the all-stars rules and the ways they enable more middle-of-the-road queens to excel over those who make bolder choices.
It's a respectable strategy but the whole concept of sending queens home is a weird production choice since it can make for a worse and less-entertaining season when front-runners keep getting sent home. It creates drama but the quality of the subsequent episodes isn't as good. I hope this format dies soon, it's got a bit old after years of All Stars

Pangina totally surprised me. I was kinda prejudiced toward her bc she was a judge and I thought “That’s kinda unfair” but when the show started she was undeniably the best. It’s too bad she had to leave but this is the game. It was great to get to know her tho and I’ll definitely watch DR Thailand next season.
She's even younger than Brooklyn. I wouldn't mind seeing either of them return to an international all stars.

I'm glad that you've decided to watch DRT. It's a very underrated branch of the franchise and I think that's Pangina's whole reason for agreeing to be a contestant this season. You can clearly see that her concern is with the whole franchise and country of thailand rather than her own agenda. I stan her so hard.

@Road Rover i mean you're comparing her to us/uk queens that all of us are already well acquainted with. when we think about memorability, it's difficult to rank her high as she has 4 episodes worth of time vs someone like baga who has an entire season + 4 episodes worth of time
@Road Rover so forgettable in fact that she’s gained the most fans and followers by far out of everyone this season. In fact Pangina has gained 200K + insta followers since the season started which is 3 times more than the second highest gainer Jimbo who only gained around 50K. As well as that she destroyed 2 lip-syncs, earned two badges and was sent home for being a threat due to how well she was doing. Just admit you’re salty about Jimbo leaving and go.

Arty and Pangina are some of the best hosts the franchise has had, *very professional, but attentive to the queens, the judging is very rarely something you might disagree with, the queens are mad creative, super entertaining, they have amazing, crazy personalities and overall, everyone's simply crazy haha
But DRT is really up there with DR España, CDR2 and UK2 👌🏻

The reason she lose because of her strategy backfire herself not a karma bullshit.
"backfire" implies "something coming back to you" Is that not the definition karma? (just to clarify, I love Pangina, and I didn't WANT to see her go, but based on what she did to Jimbo, it was basically 100% guaranteed that she was gonna be eliminated the second she was in the bottom because the girls couldn't trust her.
Think about it this way: there are 3 was the girls eliminate with All Stars rules:
1. By the "report card"--- who has been doing the best THROUGHOUT the competition and/or how they did on that exact challenge.
2. By friendships and alliances (think of Alaska and Detox saving Roxxxy over and over again) and finally
3. By eliminating the biggest competition (cut to Naomi eliminating Manila)
In the world of RPDR, both the 2nd and 3rd way have always been controversial AMONG THE DRAG QUEENS--- these are the two ways that automatically make the person who chooses to vote this way a THREAT.
When Pangina eliminated Jimbo, she claimed it was for reason #2 (she respects her, JJ is a legends; essentially she saved her friend) but we and others like Baga saw it that she eliminated by was #3 and getting rid of her strongest competition.
No matter what way you slice it, Pangina voting for Jimbo could into no way be explained to the other girls in a way that made them feel secure as competitors. (I will say that Pangina tried to rationalize her decision by leaning on way #1--- tried to claim that Juju did better than Jimbo in the rusical challenge, but thats up for debate, and JuJu definatley did NOT serve better looks that Jimbo) Pangina put that target on her back--- She opened that door, and Blu threw her out of it :/
Jimbo and Pangina were literally my queens to win, so its tragic all around, but damn.

This was her eliminating someone strong, making the other queens feel comfortable with the idea of sending home strong competition, and then one eliminated her. There were no higher powers or spirituality involved in that.
@@sarahbravo6334 The thing is, Jimbo objectively did worse in the challenge than Juju. And eliminating someone with 0 badges vs eliminating the clear frontrunner with 2 badges that DIDN'T do the worst in the challenge OR on the runway feels very different. I love Jimbo; she was my 2nd favorite, but she was never going to win a lip sync for the crown. Or any lip sync, for that matter. Panpan would have beaten ANY of them in the final lip sync, so I don't blame Blu for taking the shot. It was probably the only one they were going to get to take Panpan out.
Also, why are we so sure that Blu wouldn't have chosen Pan if she didn't do it last year. Everyone is so convinced of this fact but Blu is capable of making her own decisions.
Drag race has come a long way for queens on the show. Once upoon a time, a queen can talk shit or play a game behind a queen and no one would come for you. These days accountability is so integral its like you are a gay politician getting backlash for any decision you make, right or wrong 24/7.

I think it's more of a coin with 2 sides. Usually, a drag race is pretty competitive where there could be fans of different drag queens. And the T is one queen is supposed to get eliminated every week no matter which one is chosen. The fans of an eliminated queen would be upset. The way they choose someone to go home may seem unfair but on the other hand, it makes the eliminated queen less shady since everything is what they have signed up for.
Pangina you will be so missed! I was looking forward to seeing so much more of your costumes and your charisma.

I think Pangina saying that the elimination was fair (in terms of Blu choosing her lipstick) shows a tremendous amount of maturity for the situation. Yeah, it was super sad seeing her being sent home but at the end of the day, Pangina was also playing the game the same way everyone else was. I am so glad that she wasn't salty about it and Pangina represented Thailand beautifully. She is fully deserving of being a judge.

My two favorite queens!!
1. pangina deserves more credit than what she’s getting. this was her first time competing in drag race and in a season that’s basically all stars. to even finish 6th is already a HUGE feat.
2. tbh, whoever pangina chooses to send home in ep 3, she was going to receive hate. i wish the fans could understand that there are many criteria that a queen can use (e.g. track record, challenge performance, etc.). and if they don’t play “fair”, we shouldn’t punish them for acting like so because when you’re in a competition as highstake as drag race, you’re forced to do crazy shit to win the crown.
3. pangina made me SUPER proud as a southeast asian. i’ve always been a fan of drag race thailand because it showcased how different the drag culture is in SEA from the west. so for pangina to bring it in an international platform and to perform this well, i was elated. she put us in the map. she showed the world that we're a force to reckon with.

It pains me to hear queens always say "it's what we signed up for" referring to fans' rabid behavior. No, honey. You signed up to play the game. How the audience would react and treat you after the show is beyond your responsibility now. Fans should be called out and be held accountable because what they're doing is wrong!
