I was born in Palmer. So was my father. My grandparents were part of the new deal resettlement. I got to looking at pics online. NEVER should have done that. I had to go back! I mean where else on the planet are you going to find Mannequinn-head bowling?
My husband kept saying, "Hope we can find that inn in the dark." I kept telling him it wouldn't be dark. I don't think he really believed me until we drove out of the airport at 10:30 PM. "If you were born there, it calls you." I've heard it hundred times. It's absolutely true.
