- West Ham United's deal to sign Bayern Munich right back Noussair Mazraoui is OFF, according to Florain Plettenberg. The Bundesliga Sky Sports reporter yesterday broke the news of a deal agreed between The Hammers and Munich however it is now off due to agent fee's. Man Utd are now in advanced talks to sign Noussair Mazraoui.
Tim Steidten and Julen Lopetegui need to sign a new right back this summer transfer window and have failed to land Noussair Mazraoui, Aaron Wan-Bissaka or Kyle Walker-Peters

Why is the club paying agents fees anyway. They work for the player, not the club. Why aren't the players paying the percentage rate for getting the player a new job and good deal.
Talk about milking the cow dry, these agents, charge the cash cow, the farmer and then run off with the milking stool too!

Soton valued kwp at 20-25m and downes at 12m. Basically to get kwp, we have give downes and 10m+ was easier to do it separately

The reason Sullivan was so happy with Moyes is that when transfer windows went terribly thanks to Sullivan's messing about, Moyes just got his head down and got on with it. Steidten and Lopetegui might not be so forgiving.
Lopetegui definitely ain't he left wolves because they were reportedly late with delivering the transfer funds? Not because they didn't have the funds but apparently just because it would be slightly late and Lopetegui would have to wait?

Emery is a different class of manager to anything Onana has had before, his game over the next two years will improve 100%. Villa also play football which will suit his game compared to Everton hoofball. Time will tell but as a Villa fan I'm happy we got him.

Well we will find out. Kilman isnt worth 40m. With todays billionaire owners it seems like it's not about whats affordable, but what can squeeze into the psr calculations- and when you can spread a fee over 5 years, a few million difference is less consequential.

Having got off to a great start before the transfer window even opened, it looks like we are back to the old West Ham way of doing transfers with stuff going down to the wire and not getting our first picks!

Nothing changes at West Ham.... same shit, different day.... surely, if Sullivan is so adverse to paying agents fees, then why not ask the agent what fee they want before we enter into negotiations with the club and player?
It would save us a lot of time, what is the point entering into agreements with players and their clubs, only for the deal to collapse at last minute after finding out that the agents fee is too high. We are still run like a circus, and always will be with this clown in charge. 🤡
This sound perfect that why Sullivan is the problem because he knows about agent fees and as far as I am aware it is not illegal or against the rules so why do we have the drama every time.
This time last year we hadn't signed anyone and the fanbase was in an even bigger meltdown than it is now. By the time the window was over we were all ecstatic over the business that had been done. I'd like them to get a move on but I'll hold my panic until there are days rather than weeks left of the window.

Villa have basically wrapped up all their signings before pre season to give them time to gel as a team, no matter who our SD is we struggle like this EVERY WINDOW we are linked with 100 players with nothing concrete and then when we do get interests in a player we take the whole window to negotiate a deal, waste time and then don’t end up singing them, meanwhile every other club has a plan we just seem to go in blind and not have any sort of transfer plan, it’s incredibly embarrassing

The early optimism I had going into this window seems so be disapearing quickly. Really hoped with Steidten that we'd make smart signings, target young talent in key positions that we need. Feels like we're throwing around bids for anyone that's available. How many first choice targets have we got? Thought the old scattergun approach to transfers was a thing of the past.

I dont know how we managed to paint ourselves into a corner with Downes without making a deal for KWP, make it so obvious that Duran is the only iron we have in the fire for striker and now this agent knowing that we've got zero options left is taking advantage. We sold downes for 18m (6m profit), to the only club interested. Also, they want 20-25m for kwp , and are in no rush to sell.
I want Walker-Peters and always have. Hopefully that is back on now
If the player wanted to come he would get rid of the agent.
Has in not been reported that he made it known he only wanted Man Utd so that's why we walked away.

Absolute joke of a club. It might be Tim struggling but as this was happening before Tim arrived and through a succession of managers my moneys on the common denominator of Sully.
Other channels have reported it’s not so much problems the players agents but rather us trying to insert our agents into deals. Whether this is true and why we keep doing this I will leave for you to decide but we deffo have a problem.
We seemed to have our targets identified early, with back ups and even back ups to the back ups but with 3 weeks to the season starts we haven’t completed half our business yet. I can see us starting against villa with Antonio, Coufal and Zouma in the first 11 and it’s unacceptable.
Is this why Sullivan prefers to work with his favoured agents. He knows what they charge. Just got to stop the poison dwarf dealing with transfers.

Do not feel two rejections are a loss. Not really convinced about the Villa striker, think a deal for Tony may still be available. Still feel Stieden machine will come good for the right deal at the right price.
Kind of glad, i was concerned bayern were willing to let a good player leave on the cheap. Implies wrong attitude and injury problems. Plus another leaving to the african cup nations, is a real concern. Still need a RB, ST & CB and just importantly sell the deadwood.
