I'm using this kit (Haltech Turbo Kit) on my C5 corvette it is good for drag race, but not a daily drive car.The problem is with the engine and exh heat!!

Yes, the GM LSX Bowtie block has big block displacement with a small block external design, meaning you can use small block motor mounts. They are quite impressive engines I think.

Put your MOTOR where your MOUTH is! My buddy has a jet drag boat up on Lake Keystone here in Oklahoma. Strap your engine on his pump and let's SEE A: If IT's REALLY 1800 HP and B: HOW MANY HOURS IT WILL LAST!!! He typically gets a season (300 Hours) from a 454 stroked and bored to 625 CID with a blower putting out about 750HP for $9000. A side-oiler OHC Ford would give him 900 HP for 400 hours+ for $20,000, and a Keith Black 625 Hemi 1200 HP for 1000 hours or 2000 HP for 300 Hours or 3000 HP for 50 hours for $50,000 as any MoPar head will tell you. Go to Alky and 12,000 HP lasts 20 hours for $70,000 or Top Fuel is 36,000 HP for 2+ hours for $125,000. A skinny block (small block) won't last ten minutes on a pump at 300 HP-no meat in it.

No that is not how a twin turbo works. A turbo system is not based on PSI that is just a way to gauge, it is based on air flow. Example, say that one turbo at 7 PSI is pushing 30LB/MIN of air flow if you put two exact same turbos together you are still seeing 7PSI of boost but instead of pushing 30 LB/MIN you are pushing 60 LB/MIN. You don't add the PSI you add the airflow.
Even with BOOST in the equation...still no replacenent for displacement. Can an import make over 1000hp with 13 pounds of boost? Hell no lmao

That engine has more hp at 2000 than my civic does at 6500. It also has more hp at 4200 than my GTO has at 6500. All at 7psi of boost. Where can I learn to build one?

just a question, if u wanna fit this motor in car, u will have to change everything like: tranny, driveshaft axle and whole drivetrain, including breaks, radiator, fuel lines, well u get the picture, isnt it kinda pricey + were should i get most of the stuff?

Its crazy. You can buy either a stock ls7 for $14,111.00 brand new or for a few thousand more you can buy the same ls7 from these guys but with 550 hp and torque. I would rather have an NRE engine.

I have a dry sump LSX 455 (that's what I call it) in my '05 GTO. It makes just 615 hp/tq to the wheels. This is just mind bending.

I want to drop this in a pro touring nova, but the rear end and trans would only handle like 800-850 hp... imagine a time we live in where we can pick up the phone and place an order for a 1000+ hp engine, and 800+ rear ends and trans wont cut it LOL. These engines are masterpieces 👌

For a country that has an impressive military arsenal composed of B1 bombers, Stealth aircraft, flying saucers, etc. This engine comes as no surprise. One would be the first to arrive at Canadian Tire when the sales flyer comes into effect.
