@@kami-pt4mz i mean yeah duh cuz it's 5x times longer but the actual quality of the two are the exact same and the dlc songs could've been on the actual album and it would've only made it better
When I first heard Hermanos, that beat switch absolutely killed me. I couldn’t wait for y’all’s reaction, and I was not disappointed at all. Another goated reaction as always gentleman
@@Urbanindia745 You can see Danny rapping over it during the music video. It was probably meant to have a verse that got cut for one reason or another
hermanos was fucking unbelievable, especially that beat drop. really reminiscent of the stuff peggy pulled with HOE (heaven on earth). really awesome track, glad you guys got hyped af at it too lmao. W vid
I wasn't sure about Hermanos at first, the vocal sample was so fucking loud and it felt like it kept taking room away from the vocals, but after a couple listens it just works lmao and that outro having no vox on it was perfect. Feels like the perfect trade off to have almost too many vocals in the first half, and then no vocals on the outro
Agh man, hope they can get my comment back. I wasn't any cruder than the original. I think it's because I used the s-word (#2.) I hate this garbage corpo platform these days.
Hermanos and No! are two of the best tracks of this decade so far, not even just rap, just songs in general. My god peggy’s production and Danny’s rapping go so well together.
Now that you finished peggy I reccomend XXX by Danny Brown, pretty much all of Death Grips, and Paraffin by Armand Hammer if you wanna get some real obscure bangers
Thank you! Y'all are amazing for this reaction, and glad to see you guys love Danny and Peggy this much. This is literally becoming my favorite reaction channel, can't wait to see you guys blow up soon. You guys deserve it all 🙏🏼
A recommendation for more experimental hip hop goodness you should listen to CLPPNG by clipping. One of the most underrated groups in hip hop and this is probably their most accessible album and is seriously high quality self aware gangster rap that criticizes the lifestyle but also speaks on why people act like that in the first place (tl;dr it's a great listen and has a lot of raw descriptive lyrics)
JPEGMAFIA as Kanye and MFDOOM's baby... dude. I can see that. I was just thinkin similar. Peggy goes right into those DOOM flows like it was meant to be. I caught this one within an hour of it coming out. Got the note on my bandcamp app at work and popped it on. Had a different kind of day. And really, following JPEG's track as a producer reminds me a lot of discovering DOOM's catalogue posthumously. Every major effort completely outdoes the last and is beyond absolute zero contemporary compare. What he considers throwaways are the most glimmery gold, and he's said multiple times that he carefully chooses what he puts out, because he thinks people can't handle his deepest cuts. These two are only the first since he jumped his label, riding on the huge popularity he's gained in the past half-dec of unprecedented progress and achievement in hip-hop. Creative achievement. If Graduation Kanye don't consider him an equal by now, he needs his meds. Drake better be quiet, but that was decided years ago. Who knows where this journey ends? Does anybody following from the ghostpop days care anymore? I feel like I'm riding that mythical wave, that moment in music history like no other. This man will die remembered to the max, same as Danny. Peggy's music has that rare newness to it, like it's punching through the entirety of the present like it's a wet paper bag. We are the privledged few to witness a legend on an unstoppable climb. In 20 year's time, people will talk about JPEG like people discuss DOOM, FlyLo, and Alchemist now. Honestly, he's got stuff that would make any of those dudes rethink things. He's a true artist. 1 in a billion at a minimum. 8 people alive right now can do it how he's doing it. We're lucky to have the stars align on even one. It's a great time to be alive.
Y’all got me doing a all-nighter on ur guys acc so i can see when the discovery review gets posted Why do you do this to me Ive been on ur acc for 3 hours already Im abt to fall asleep HELP
After JPEGMAFIA maybe u guys are ready for Death Grips: The Money store, It's basically A paranoic homeless man scream-rapping over hard techno-industrial beats, 10/10 would recommend
No way this man meant Hiroshima and he said "Hashirama" ☠️ I was agreeing too like "yeah Hashirama do be hitting with the wood jutsu" and then my guy drops the Nagasaki ☠️☠️☠️
no hate but i don’t think i’ve watched a video where your audio isn’t being picked up by your mic in the middle. it sounds like ur recording through ur laptop/camera

Someone should've rapped over that Post beat switch music. Could've become the best track on the entire album.

Hermanos goes hard, straight fire, I can see why this wouldn't made the album as its such a heel turn from the album, but still deserved to drop.
