January 2024 Midnight Moment: "sessile board members" by Aron Sanchez-Baranda

In January 2024, artist Aron Sanchez-Baranda brought the tactile splendor of the sea anemone to Times Square with "sessile board members." A marine species affectionately referred to as the “flower of the sea”, these glistening, pulsing, vibrant-hued invertebrates are enlarged to monumental proportions every midnight in the new year.
Midnight Moment is the world’s largest, longest-running digital art exhibition, synchronized on 95+ electronic billboards throughout Times Square nightly from 11:57pm to midnight.
