"Dumps the clutch and takes the wheels for a spin", I love that commentary!
Dude with the long braids gotta be the league mvp every year
South Africa + Tuisova compilation lol
Who cares, LOVED IT!!
Facts tho
The hit at 0:33 with the music at the same time is just astonishing
That offload at 1:30 is fire
Might as well have made it ‘South African Rugby’
Not our fault we're that good! Boks undefeated in 2020!
exactly
Then leave
Stop whining nobody likes a whiner.
I see plenty Videos that show no South African, plus there was plenty to go around on this video
@@benl4862 Yeah you guys were class in 2020...
best highlights i've seen !
As an American football fan, I will say that rugby is easier to understand rather than a rugby fan understanding American football
Are you joking? If you think the average American football fan will understand rugby, then you haven’t got a clue what’s going on. American football is the simplest, most boring sport, and it is incredibly easy to comprehend what’s going on
@@MKRM27 boring? Most watched sport of all time
@@JacobiPatterson12 American Football isn't anywhere close to being the most watched sport, since the FIFA World Cup gets watched by more than a billion people every time it happens
@@MKRM27 says it’s boring on a video about a sport about running forward and passing backwards and that’s about it
Shut up guys cricket is best
5:33 is the best try ever!
It was average at best.
lol every nfl player dives for the pylon and some if do front flips over them lol
@@aydenconner7 they also weigh nothing cos they just wear padding to take hits
Great compilation. A little bit of everything of the best of the game.
coming from an nfl fan i wanted to see how rugby did it..
Kinda same. Makes nfl look like flag football
@@shadowwatson6633 True.
What did you think? I’m curious 🤙
fr !
@@shadowwatson6633 my family watches both american football and rugby here in Australia. NFL definitely hits harder because they can lunge into their opponents. Rugby players cant do that
I just come here to see the best men. Whether they have the best speed, strength, and ideas... seeing them problem solve and win. 💪🏼 👏🏼
Perfect timing bro perfect timing
Rugby, a sport for true men. I played for a small college in Utah, I'm 6 foot 4 inches tall and weigh 220 pounds. I was the SMALLEST guy on the team. Needless to say I didn't last long.
5ft 6in and a fit 12 stone (170 lbs ish). 5-6 years at Army regimental level and the occasional Corps game as a hooker and only a fucked shoulder and screwed knees stopped me playing.
SIZE DOES NOT MATTER (if you know what you are doing)!
Boi, Messi is 5'7" and he would destroy any of these guys. He makes men looks like kids, watch his highlights.
@@vojake100 I believe Messi would be good at any sport but because he hasn't played rugby (that I know of), at a decent level, no-one can say for sure.
the average weight of backs at my school is 160. we got second in the nation 2007
6'3 242 pounds and looking forward to join a team now in England. I have sports backround from swordfighting to MMA and could keep up with bigger men in general, mostly looking to improve my cardio. Do you have to be a monsterverse titan to enjoy it ?
Wow what a video 👏👏👏
I can see the crazy amount of work that goes into your videos! Keep up the amazing content 👏👌
Cool video and the background music fits perfect!
So awesome !!! Killer vid great job
This was rather satisfying to watch, making me feel to join rugby. Dats tough
1:55 fan was too happy
Good job mate
1.55 the spectator just jump out of his chair for that step. Awesome indeed
Derek Henry would be a BEAST in Rugby. Period
I’m American and I’ve literally never seen any one juke like the one at 5:17 ish. Like the way he jumps up and move is legs in the air like that, maybe the dirtiest move I’ve ever seen
Nobody cares that you're American. There was literally no need to preface your comment with that.
lol he planted his right foot in the ground to juke, have you watched football?? way better jukes
This was called a hitchkick when I played rugby about 20 years ago. He's faking the step one way and selling it with the head movement then stepping the other way. Kinda surprising no one uses it in the nfl tbh.
진짜 터프하고 멋있다..사람이아니라 맹수들이네
Yo nothing but respect from across the pond 🇺🇸👍🏾. That being stated, if these guys all test clean for P.E.D.s , then yikes 🥶🥶🥶.
PEDs are extremely rare in rugby. Rugby players are groomed since 1st grade of school. So these are natural beasts
@@sabelomguba7619 lol you’re full of sheet buddy . Nearly all these guys are on peds.
Woow..it's awsome bro.it made me motivated ..❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥
Other Rugby compilation videos never do SA rugby justice, so Die Hard Rugby will do it for us!!! 🔥
Yes but it does no other country justice
So this is rugby. No protective gear and these boys go hard...reeespect!
Great compilation. Liked and subscribed, thanks>
Now I get rugby. He scored a game winning field goal
Best rugby video I've ever seen!!
Making me wanna switch to rugby 🏉
do it!
Sbu Nkosi is my guy, just sad that he plays the same position as Kolbe. Sbu is pure power and speed.
He should honestly replace Mapimpi. Both of them have dogshit defense, but Sbu is a monster with ball in hand. His 1-on-1 is miles ahead of Mapimpi's.
You, GG Montages, and Andrew Forde make the best rugby compilations
How in the world did Football (We call it Soccer here in the US for some reason) become more popular than Rugby? This is 100x more entertaining than Football IMO!
true
Beacuse you do not need anything other than a ball to play football leading to anybody being able to play
Great show case of South African talent with a Pacific flair.
CAN'T IMAGINE THIS GAME!!! DOUBLE KILLING AND AWESOME AT THE SAME TIME!, GAME FOR BRAVEST OF THE BRAVEST MAN IN THE WORLD.
Rugby to American Football = Gymnastics to Cheerleading
NFL players has to wear helmet, gloves , and others stuff to protect them, and there is ruby with nothing just bare hand, and with that beast body. Jesus
These guys dont give a fuck if they go down or not bro , i respect the shit out of that
It’s exactly like pickup American football games in the neighborhood years ago
FIRE, ABSOLUTE BRILLIANCE
Great videos mate THANX!!!!!!!!!!
Do you have to physically place the ball on the ground for a “touchdown” in the “end zone” for Rugby?
👍
International Rugby Rugby Union and NFL Football are like comparing apples and oranges.
With ALL DUE RESPECT TO NORTH AMERICAN FOOTBALLERS, which is a game worthy of respect . . .
NFL . . .
- 4 hours of a 60 minute game played in 5 second intervals. Incessant interruptions, timeouts, commercials. Average “ball in play” is 13 minutes per game. Clock management kills the spirit of the sporting contest.
- 11 aside, at least 5 referees not counting the replay booth.
- 3 teams aside; offence, defence, special teams. Some players are on for 15 seconds a game. Special team players don’t even break a sweat.
- Depending on position, very limited skill development required.
- Average play; ball is snapped, play is made pedantically repetitively, flag for something immaterial to the outcome of the play, referee huddle, 5 minute replay, jury selection, players call lawyers, plea bargain, call is made, do over. 4 hours of this crap.
- 3 teams on the field at once . . . Offence, defence, and referee. Players playing opposition AND referee, begging calls. Over-officiated, game is about the covey of referees and booth and their pedantic over management.
- Play ENDS at the tackle.
- “Touchdown” and “Scrimmage” are bastardized terms from Rugby Union. There is never a touchdown in the NFL, there is no law that a player needs to touch the ball down under control in the in goal area. It should be a “crossover”. A scrummage is a Rugby restart where 8 men from each team pack down and contest for possession. Sheesh.
- The kick off of every game is such a great metaphor of the game itself. Huge build up . . . Fans on the edge of their seats . . . what’s going to happen? . . . kickoff . . . touch back. Sigh.
- My gawd, I’m bored and frustrated just writing this.
Rugby Union . . .
- 80 minutes of continuous play, up to 20 phases (downs) in some cases, up to 6 or 9 minutes played before a restart has to happen.
- 15 aside, ONE referee with 2 Touch Judges whom the referee may or may not consult. It’s the referee’s discretion.
- The offence, defence, and special teams are all played by the 15 on each side.
- Tremendous skill development required by ALL players.
- Average play; ball possession is contested at line out, scrum, or penalty. Once won, dynamic development of driving mauls, crashing off loads, punishing rucks, fast hands to ‘against the grain’ runs from the backs, cheeky passes to supporting players, maybe a kick, rib crushing tackles, try in the corner. Duration of play? 2-6 minutes. Ebb and flow. 80 minutes pure entertainment.
- Laws of Rugby Union inherently support the concept of continuous play. IE the referee may award a penalty, but allow play if the non offending team has gained an advantage. IE the referee can elect to warn a player he is in an offside position, if the player retreats onside, all good, play on. In the event of a penalty, play does not HAVE to be stopped. IE play BEGINS at the tackle.
- Was there a penalty? Probably, but it wasn’t material to the game, play on.
- Was there an injury? Yes, the player is hobbled away from play . . . play on. No reward for injury.
- Play the referee begging for a call, risk a send off under the yellow card. Play the opposition not the referee.
North American Football is Rugby Union ruined. Average self absorbed American knows nothing of another country’s culture or sport.
Played, coached, refereed both games - both in the US and internationally. No contest. Football = collision. Rugby = contact. Those are 2 different things entirely. Basketball players make the best transition. That doesn’t mean rugby is not as physical as football (see “Chabal” clip, yet to come).
Imagine if the athletic specimens in the NFL were aerobically fit and committed to the real game called Rugby Union.
As a referee, I can pick an ex football player in the warm out from a mile away. They don’t last due to either . . .
- fatigue, or
- Injuries due to tackling with the head on the wrong side.
Im often asked . . . NFL, Rugby Union, Rugby League. Can one transition back and forth? The answer is both Yes and No. One can go from Rugby to Football, but not Football to Rugby. Best Rugby players are wrestlers and basketballers.
I observe, 1) American football players don’t last physically in the game due to poor tackling habits. ua-cam.com/video/TyDpjjarQ5Q/v-deo.html (American footballers trying to Union are always being carted off, can pick them out during warmups), 2) American players are anaerobically conditioned, they’re knackered after 5 minutes (I can see it in their eyes) ua-cam.com/video/12ruyY7hq5k/v-deo.html 3) American football players don’t offload, at all. They’re easy targets. ua-cam.com/video/DGn_tQUi-mw/v-deo.html, and 4) Rugby tackles ua-cam.com/video/8YJ-AKH7dHA/v-deo.html&feature=share are hard. ua-cam.com/video/iKnf4xbV4Ak/v-deo.html.
American Footballers get eaten alive in Rugby Union.
Oh - and they play through injury, ua-cam.com/video/6xvEEFHwJRg/v-deo.html - none of that laying down for 5 minutes, “going under the tent” bullshit.
totally agree the football game is overcommercialized AF. Wish we had more plays that involved backwards passes to keep the play alive. We really should not have kickoffs as well. Its just such a waste of time and effort. Needs to be penalties against it. There needs to be a push back to rugby, to the roots. And yes concussions are a major issue too. Tackling is so violent in the NFL because they have all the safety pads and helmets but they still keep hurting themselves.
I'd more call the players specialized than limited skill set. It does allow for bigger men to play in the league to protect the quarterback, running back etc and for smaller men for quarterback and kicker/punter. Of course the positions are not exclusive but that is the difference in the sports.
Spreading rugby awareness
Keep pushing 👊🏽💯
Awe mb I love ur vids❤ but u fr gotta get some new clips. Anyways keeps up the work💪
Is nobody going to appreciate the guy at 1:53 in the crowd ahead😂
Amazing khamate kho ha
"Camille chat rugby tribute " you have to watch this Guy!
Unreal video
The non-stop action/grind of ruggers is what makes it more enthralling than American football. I love NFL but monetary wagers are needed for some games to genrrate interest. I can watch any Rugby from major leagues or competitions any time, however.
Running and tackling is soooooo awesome
Can we please get an entire highlights package of Owen Farrell getting hurt. It would make me so happy
Watch the "Owen Farrell - Anti Tribute ᴴᴰ | 2019"
its hilarious.
A real power+ skill game
Nice video
As an American I will NEVER understand how football became our national sport instead of this.
I think it happened at the time where America was trying to move away from anything British. From sport to British culture and influence.
@@SimangalisoMbixane Ahh that actually makes a lot of sense. Never considered that.
Yeah men I switch completely to rugby 🏉 in stead of waist more time watching NFL.
Good video
.
🔥🔥🔥
Honestly, weapons should be allowed in this sport for the sake of fairness.
See already smash time 👍👍 like this
Pl tell who is this black dude with gr8 hair??? He got some very gr8 running mobes...and kind of dribbling while on run...south african??
i fucking love this video
Believe some of these guys could be NFL stars.
I like Rosco Speckman more as a sevens player
Big Baby Rhino fan, huh?😂
that last one was just FILTHY! how dare he!
best video ever
Nice
Pity you didnt show more of Faf de Klerk, that guy is a f#*^ing terrier.
if u ever played in Rugby finals, you will know we cry during the game especially when trailing, it becomes personal we show emotion during the game not after and then we break ribs it becomes personal
I've played rugby 2 times in my life.i cannot say i did well.as a wrestler i thought it would be easy.it wasnt..
Imagine henery or prime lynch
Yes it is very awesome
I love rugby the best sport ever I like league and union
Hit hard boys
How do we know when a player is down by contact?
Can one tackle a guy as he is receiving a ball? It seems so dangerous because you are very vulnerable.
Yes, you can. You should Check out hospital pass tackles.
As the saying goes, soccers for women, footballs for wussies, and rugby's for men. Down in Houston Texas right now waiting to play in the National Collegiate Rugby Nationals!!
I'm missing some technique in this video... it's all about hits and speed. Where's the handplay?
i can smell the testosterone through the screen
1:29 what was that!!
Viva Bokkies Viva Mzanzi 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
I didn't see Antoine Dupont so I dislike
(Just kidding nice job bg)
😈😈😈
real men!
Bro mans knees were down why he still throw it🤨
Football ain’t got nothing on rugby. Brutal
Plz what’s the music name !!!!!
wow
Rugby 👍NFL 👎
More commentary next time please
idk why people always debate if american football or this game has harder hits... american football clearly has harder hits but thats not whats so cool about rugby from a new comer like me its the passes and the pace. dont get me wrong i love american football but it is a bit slow rugby is more akin to basketball or hockey where its always go go go. the hits arent really the cool part of rugby IMO.
Haka is cool
A football/soccer player barely gets hit and they act like they are dying. Look at these guys.
Очкруто!
They don't use no gear and those players are strong
They test them for steroids?
That pyramid shit they do a trick play?
