    His former driver was Julius Schreck. He died of meningitis in 1936. He was also the first commander of the SS as well as SS member #5.

    Hitler wore a dagger that I assume was presented to him by Mussolini when he visited Rome ,I have only seen footage of him wearing it from a balcony , I wonder what ever happened to that piece...would be worth a fortune ....

    Question--why is Ernst Rohm's name on an SS dagger?

      Mr. Vinegaroon Because up until the Night of the Long Knives the SA ran the whole show and the SS was Subservient to the SA so much so that if the SA was not predominant in one region the SS could not recruit in it ...

      Biggest question was why didn’t Kemka remove the Rohm name? Doesn’t seem likely he would’ve kept it in place. That said, who knows?
