- Thousands of Jews gathered at the western wall in Jerusalem on Saturday night to perform the Selichot prayers ahead of the new year of the Jewish Calendar Rosh Hashana.
Worshippers gathered at and near the western wall where they read penitential poems and performed prayers. A major cleric also spoke through a microphone. A projection also took place on the wall from the outside.

המעמד התקיים בהשתתפות הראשון לציון רבה הראשי הספרדי של ירושלים, הרב שלמה עמאר שליט״א, רב הכותל המערבי והמקומות הקדושים הרב שמואל רבינוביץ שליט״א, ראש העיר ירושלים משה ליאון, ממ”ז ירושלים ניצב דורון תורג’מן ומנכ”ל הקרן למורשת הכותל מרדכי (סולי) אליאב וקהל רב.
המעמד הועבר בשידור חי על גבי מסכי ענק בקצות הרחבה ובפאתי הכותל ואף על חומות העיר העתיקה הודות לעיריית ירושלים כחלק מהיערכות לקראת בואם של רבבות המתפללים והמבקרים ולטובת הקהל שלא הצליח להגיע בעקבות העומסים ונשאר לצפות במעמד בשער יפו.

@Eucharist Angel I pray all would come to salvation in Christ because each person is created to glorify God. YHVH God is perfect and He desires that none perish but that all should come to repentance (from 2 Peter 3:9). He knows many men will chose to defy their own Creator because of the gift of free will, but I have no doubt each one lost breaks the Father’s heart. With your attitude, the glorious gospel of Yeshua Christ would never have been taken to a lost & dying world.
@Eucharist Angel I completely disagree with your interpretation of scripture. To actually think a holy, righteous God creates men without any hope of salvation and predestines them to hell is outside the character of God. Please read 1 Timothy 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9, Ezekiel 18:23, and Matthew 23:37, which all indicate His desire for everyone to accept salvation. The Holy Spirit knows which hearts are open to the gospel and the truth. There are no doubt the elect who have been predestined, John the Baptist for instance, but only God knows if they could have refused the heavenly purpose for which they were born. We’ll just have to disagree. Maranatha.

Truthfully, not everyone would be saved. Some know the truth, yet, in their rebellion choose the broad way. The ones God wants saved would certainly be, before the end of age. After all, no one wins a soul by his might, choice of words, or knowledge of the scriptures, rather, souls are won by God's Spirit and as God wills.

The only time the Son of God (Capital S) is used in the Old Testament, is in the book of Daniel.
Daniel 3:
[23]And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
[24]Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
[25]He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
King Nebuchadnezzar even explained who the Son of God is as the fourth figure like a man. That he was the angel of God , who God sends for those who believe in him, who God sends as his Angel.
Daniel 3:28
[28]Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
King Nebuchadnezzar even goes further in making a decree, if anyone speaks amiss against their God , they will be made dunghill as their are no other God that can save anyone in such manner.
Daniel 3:29-30
[29]Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
[30]Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.
Now just like the servents of God trusted in God to send his angel / Son of God / figure like a man without flesh ; the Christians uphold the same decree , to the Holy Ghost , as King Nebuchadnezzar made to the God of Israel. Only usring the words sin ore blasphemy instead of amiss.
Matthew 12:31
[31]Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
Matthew 12:32
[32]And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Just like Israel believed in the Angel of the LORD send in front of them , whom the LORD'S name is upon.
Exodus 23:20-21 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
Just like Daniel believed in the angel of God .
Daniel 6:20-22 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?
Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.
My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
If a man is send with the name of God upon him , if it be a man without flesh , ore a man with flesh . Surely he reprisents the image of the invisible God.
Well that Angel also became flesh again . He received a new name , with a new covanant. His Name is JESUS !!!! the Messiah .
Luke 1:26-35 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
