Passed the exam today with a 793. Exam wasn't that hard, but highly recommend you manage your time wisely. I ran out of time, and didn't finish answering the last 3 questions on the hands-on section. Could have had a way better score, but whatever, pass is a pass. Good luck to anyone planning to take this in future!
@WizdaVision Productions You are offering great advice about time management. I completely agree with your advice. Also a pass is a pass. There is nothing to be ashamed of with a 793! Congrats on passing the exam!

Thank you Brendan, the past year in my video class we've been online and up until a month ago we didn't have access to premiere at home so we were using another much worse online video editing program, but with the help of your video and my own research I managed to pass with flying colors! :)

Pc requirements for exams from home?
Hi there, I have one question though. You have explained things very well but can you please answer me on the following questions?
1. Do participants have to give the exam from home or requires to select the nearest center?
2. Does it require to have Adobe Premiere Pro software purchased from the creative cloud?
@ Yash M. The tests are taken at a local testing center that has Adobe Premiere Pro installed on it. Currently, the most recent exam version is Premiere Pro CC 18 12.1.2. I believe that later this year a test will be released using Premiere Pro CC 19. Certiport exam release dates can be found here certiport.pearsonvue.com/Educator-resources/Exam-details/Exam-releases.

Is that marker just a bookmark sort of thing?
@Andy You could say that. Marking things on your time makes for easy reference. You can also quickly jump through markers on a timeline. This make navigating your timeline easier on a larger project.
I'm self taught on Premiere Pro with about 7 years of on/off experience. Through being self-taught, I imagine I know a lot of the fundamentals, though I don't think I know the industry's terminology very well. How can I put the two together?
Don’t waste your time going for a cert. People in the industry do not care and a portfolio is infinitely better than a cert. Just edit

I'm taking my exam in a week, what is the passing score?
@Nickeyz Wix A passing score on the exam is 700 or greater. The exam is scored out of a 1000.
