@@NurseBreeNacole I'm six months into my PN training, we start labs at a local hospital August, the last weekend of July we will be doing lab evaluations. The thing i'm most nervous about is having to do head-to-toe assessments. How often in your role as a LPN do you have to do patient assessments and what tips can you offer for starting out, still as a student nurse? Thank you for sharing your insights.
@@tinabrown5194 at my old facility we actually had to do assessments on the people every shift that were there for rehab, but as far as residents we only had to do them on certain residents each shift. Once you start doing them more often it will become natural.
@@NurseBreeNacole thanks for sharing...I'm nervous, atleast until I actually start clinicals and see what is expected and how things go. I'll check back in with you after my first clinicals at the local hospital.
