Bitchy Ridge is always the best Ridge - RM shines most as an actor in that milieu - and particularly so against JT’s Rick. Something about Rick’s twerpy entitlement just begs for a smack down.
Pairing up CJ and Bridget was a great idea. They have a lot in common. They have both suffered a lot, at least in part because of Brooke. They both feel out of place in their own families and have turned their backs on their respective family companies. They are both portrayed by very capable young actors, who have chemistry. It's just too bad that the writers thought that pairing up Bridget and _Ridge_ was a better idea. 🙄

In addition to the factors @Annie mentioned, CJ and Bridget had that elusive thing - natural chemistry. It’s also such a great soap-y trope to have the two “smart ones” of their families hook up. I wish the show would have gone down that path.

They are compatible in terms of chemistry, character type and temperament. And they are the youngest Forrester and the youngest Spectra, which also works well in terms of storytelling (in fairy tales it's usually the youngest child who is the most unconventionaI). I always thought CJ was underused. He never really made it past supporting character status for some reason, and Mick Cain deserved better.
I am not really an Amber fan but Brooke also slept with the bosses sons (plural) and the boss himself to get her foot in the door. Why is Brooke's behaviour always acceptable whilst others get held to an entirely different standard?

The interaction between CJ and Bridget mirrors the scenes between Sally and Stephanie a few months ago, when Sally wanted Stephanie to be her maid. Just like his mother did, CJ is trying to change the status relationship between himself and a Forrester as a way of getting back at them for Macy's death, and just like Sally, CJ is directing his anger at one of the few "innocent" Forresters (Stephanie and Bridget being the only ones in the Forrester family who had nothing to do with what happened to Macy, and actually didn't know what was going on until it was too late). ans just like Stephanie ended up getting through to Sally by showing her compassion, Bridget will eventually manage to get through to CJ the same way.
Why is Rick acting like Ridge /Spectra are doing something wrong? They shouldn't do any designs, shouldn't approach stores, shouldn't have a showing? Massimo is absolutely right.. Spectra is not obligated to tell the competition what they're doing. And Sally should feel very proud now... Forrester now actually sees her as competition 😂 Oh, and Amber needs to sit down.
He never said that they shouldn’t. Problem is that while they were attempting to secure their own bag were also simultaneously intentionally trying to stop/block Forrester’s. I think it's like what Caroline did in Season 1. After she was betrayed by her fiancé and felt betrayed by her father, she wanted to survive on her own outside the sheltered world where she grew up. It's a coming of age thing, and Bridget is doing the same.

Originally Brooke asked her kids both Rick and Bridget to give up a part of their stock to give Ridge full power and gave him power of attorney which they agreed and when she left he stabbed her in the back. You all seem to forget this. Things were influenced by third parties. They are busy fighting each leaving the real devil to harm them and give them more pain than they can imagine ie Sheila exit Taylor. This may be the jump start they need to get back on Track. Ridge isn't bad he is just not himself. He soon will be again.....
I think Ridge/Rick relationship has already been ruined forever. And it will keep getting worse through the years. That ship stepfather/stepson and older brother/younger brother has sailed for good. And ron acting limitations are really making this storyline suffer, Kristine showed more conflicts with the scene with Taylor than ron had showed towards destroying something that means the world to his dad, a dad he claims to love, despite what he feels about the amber line destroying forester should bring up conflicting emotions, but instead he comes off as a one dimensional villain.
That's the kinda funny part of it: -) All of the Forrester siblings own a part of FC and if FC faces such losses (enough that they can't ever do a new line, that FC will be ruined), then they all will lose a lot of money. -) Eric has not been CEO for a long time now, but still Eric often had control over the creative part and often has made decisions without even asking the CEO Brooke first (eg. when Eric used their company to invite the press and to announce Taylor's return from death). But Ridge soon will expect Eric to leave the sinking ship and join him at Spectra, the company that is owned by the man Eric hates and blames for Stephanie leaving him, Massimo. 🤔 Eric is supposed to leave the company he has build and where he at least has some power (board member), to go to the rival company where Eric would only have the power that Massimo for some reason has granted Ridge and might allow Eric to have some executive position at SF too.

And ron acting limitations are really making this storyline suffer, Kristine showed more conflicts with the scene with Taylor than ron had showed towards destroying something that means the world to his dad, a dad he claims to love, despite what he feels about the amber line destroying forester should bring up conflicting emotions, but instead he comes off as a one dimensional villain.
That's the kinda funny part of it:
-) All of the Forrester siblings own a part of FC and if FC faces such losses (enough that they can't ever do a new line, that FC will be ruined), then they all will lose a lot of money.
-) Eric has not been CEO for a long time now, but still Eric often had control over the creative part and often has made decisions without even asking the CEO Brooke first (eg. when Eric used their company to invite the press and to announce Taylor's return from death).
But Ridge soon will expect Eric to leave the sinking ship and join him at Spectra, the company that is owned by the man Eric hates and blames for Stephanie leaving him, Massimo. 🤔 Eric is supposed to leave the company he has build and where he at least has some power (board member), to go to the rival company where Eric would only have the power that Massimo for some reason has granted Ridge and might allow Eric to have some executive position at SF too.

Also Ridge looks very old in these scenes. I think he has lost too much weight. Later on he looks better.
