I think I'm the only person who didn't particularly care for the Hanbin/Tempest Ace performance. The whole time he danced with the fabric, it just looked like he was going to get tangled up in it or trip. Yeah, I liked that it was so different from all the others, but it just didn't hit me the way it probably was meant to. It wasn't bad, but would not have been top 3 for me.
junhyeok’s cover was definitely not his best (and i say that as someone who ults him) but this song was very important to him and just seeing him stand on that stage, screaming his heart out after all he went through in order to stand on stage again was what got me so emotional. i do think he could have done better but i could tell he was very stressed and just the fact that he put such emotion into it made his stage stand more than the others for me, even though everyone did well. to be honest, i didn’t expect anything for the first episode since they are just doing lil introduction performances but i’m very excited to see the future performances.
@@rosewoodzz he was on hiatus for most of their time since debut because of anxiety. since their survival show he was considered the ace of tnx (and the ace of the survival in itself) and, as he said in the first episode, i think that put a lot of pressure on himself. i don’t remember exactly when he went on hiatus because it was quite a long time ago but he only performed with the others for their debut album then went on hiatus. he did record their comebacks and mvs though, he was just not there for promotions. he only came back for the promotions of fuego then they came on road to kingdom.
I think tempest bringing a softer touch to their performances really made them stand out, apparently this week they're doing a stray kids song, I cant wait to see how that goes
For me the best ace is junhyeok and the best team stage is cravity like no doubt. For the ace it's just get too boring when everyone decided to just show their dancing..lucky there were still one doing vocal and another rap. I'm not against dance performance but somehow it look awkward😅
Before watching the first episode, the ranking was very predictable, but after watching it, suddenly I can't tell who will win. Everyone was so talented and I'm starting to feel anxious for the group that I'm rooting.
I have Tempest down at 1 in both stage performances. Tempest is definitely more creative and presenting musical direction of contemporary art in their performance. Tempest is showing the art 🖼️ and creativity side missing in K-pop’s stage presence when developing production and delivering performance. The talented flower 🌹 boys with masculinity, good vocals and dancing and not afraid to be called elegant. Everyone is dark, loud and macho masculine. Only Tempest maintains their innocence princely elegant astatic while delivering art. Hanbin’s stage rendition reminds me of the time I spent going theatre watching musical shows. The first few seconds of him dancing with the white flowing fabric ooze elegance. I hope Tempest continues on this path even for their next stage with Stray Kids song as people are speculating from teaser trailer.

It’s crazy how each ranking video I watched is so different than the other, like people really have different opinions on this show but I love it and it just proves how good all the performances was. For my opinion I think 8turn and the Crewone performances was the most impressive for me in term of skills the rest was so conceptual and didn’t really highlighted their group strength point it was either mid singing or mid dancing with extra stunts and acting so I appreciate 8turn and the crewone for showing us high level dancing skills and clean synchronized chore, other teams they had parts that was not really organized especially tempest when they did the group dancing their formation was not clear and I assume because they used to do it with an extra member but come on you should’ve at least fix that before coming on the show. The new six choreo was good but not high level even the stunt was so mid. Oneus stage was good in term of concept and I appreciate them singing live but other than that nothing stood out to me. the dancing was too short the singing was too short they wasted time at the beginning for the acting section so overall they couldn’t really showcase what they are capable of all was just mid level and that’s why I think they were ranked last by the other groups
The Crew One, like they said in the show, just looked like a dance crew to me. It's a show to show off who's the ace of idols, but they literally only showed dancing. That's my gripe about their team performance. If we're talking about aces, we need to be shown everything they can do, not just dancing, and that's where the other groups did so much better.
yesss honestly i thought crewone’s dancing was amazing and it would have been my favorite if it included a little singing, their choreo was very clean and satisfying to watch
