we're sweaty because of our ring lights :( thank you for actually understanding. the amount of people either thinking i mean triggers (i monitor with triggers!) or straight up not caring about backing tracks is wild! love your channel. love the haunted
If bands are using drum backing tracks, why not also use pre-recorded guitar tracks. And vocals too. And then, just like that, metal becomes the same as "live" pop music...
Listen to the opening to "The Termination Proclamation" by Nevermore. There is strong influence from this. As a Nevermore fanboy who is still saddened we lost Warrel too soon, we need more nevermore'esque riffage!
Y'all have really nailed the splatter on the new cannabilismos, like name another brand who makes pink looks menacing. P.s. that fast riff at 0:49 *needs* to be be on the next chug project.
Holy shit man ! Remember that you wake up people with your intros and I was totaly blown up this morning that I listen to it again on the studio subwoofer this afternoon and F******* YEAAAAAHHHH MAN ! #riffmaster
Killed it again with the intro \m/ super heavy chugging then the fast frantic top end shred B-) The new Wylde guitar looks like something Steve Vai would go for :') I think the John5 signature looks so clean! Futuristic and simple. Have a great Sunday!
Drum programs show up on time, don’t bring their girlfriends, don’t show up drunk and/or stoned, keep their opinions to themselves. Also they don’t steal to fuel their gambling addiction.
Making mistakes is okay. Making the same mistake over and over again is inexcusable. I've played with some obnoxious drummers who refuse to work on their shit and would constantly fuck up live causing the entire band to flub.
Thank you so much for demo on the FRFR cab. I get what you are saying about a live application but there is another application where I think it would be perfect. We have a practice space where we want to write songs but can’t always get full on loud with our amps. Additionally it doesn’t make sense for me to drag a bunch of pedals with me and take forever to set up. I also write with bass and guitar. With this speaker and something like a line6 pod go I can have my bass tones and guitar tones programmed. I can then just bring my go, FRFR speaker and my bass and guitar. Downsized but more than enough to write with a few friends. Thanks for the idea! 🤘🤘
When I first got my Fractal AX8 I had it running into a Laney FRFR cab, I had so much trouble dialing it in. It had too much low end, too harsh in the highs, sounded like if it was covered with a blanket. Then I got the FM3 and just decided to go with a poweramp and a 2x12 cab and that was so much easier to dial in settings, as oppose to flipping through hundreds of IR's to get the right sound. Maybe if I spent more time messing with it I could've got it to work but it seemed like such a hassle.
You could have said that is was maybe "Dimmu Borgir" . Years ago i saw a Live Video with Nicholas Barker. His legs stopped Moving and the Kicks were going on.
That ZW Thoraxe is his take on the BC Rich Mockingbird. Tom Morello is raging FOR the machine now, and the John 5 Tele is totally channeling Buckethead.
I remember seeing the band Spineshank back in the late 90s. Wasnt a fan but was watching because my gf at the time dragged us there through a blizzard which kept the crowd size very small. Heard some double kick that caught my attention so I looked at the drummer. Due to the small crowd i was in the front off to the side because i was always one that liked to see behind the scenes. His legs were not moving at all. We got a little chuckle at it.
I had thought the FR speakers were for if you wanted to take the crafted sound of what you have at home and play it live in a place that doesn't have adequate PA support, and maybe no backline amps either, basically using the FR speakers as a guitar cabinet. I could very well be wrong, but at least that's an instance where it may be applicable. In your instance, Ola, it totally makes sense to just go to FOH and have in-ears for monitoring, and in other situations use a modeler into the power amp section of a tube amp into a cabinet for that kind of situation.
i use a valeton gp100 (cheap) with the fortin 4x12 IR through a set of monitor speakers. an advantage of that kind of setup is that is sounds good with low volumes. i barely use a dedicated guitar amp/speaker anymore, too bulky and loud. of course that is in a practice an a bit of noodling around setup.
the FRFR thing is great for the people that go direct to FOH but want either a personal monitor or stage volume. i'm with you, it's not for me, but it has its place

love your channel. love the haunted
And we as metal fans enjoy both of your channels! Totally agree with you, Craig. Ola, as a guitarist I enjoy your playing. Keep keeping it real both 🤘

That fast bit in the opening riff is insane 🔥🔥🔥
is that from a song or he just fucking around?
@@mrburns366 He creates like a mini song for every swola every week
The riff is indeed fantastic.

BIG Decapitated (Vogg) vibes for sure
Happy Sunday y'all 🙃

Rabea definitely nailed the Tom Morello demo!
Hell yes Ola, that riffage was brutal. Always love seeing you bust out the 7s
Y'all have really nailed the splatter on the new cannabilismos, like name another brand who makes pink looks menacing.

My favorite weekly show!! Thanks, Ola!🤘🤘
Hells Bells!!!That intro was a facemelter🤘🏿😎🥃🎸
Man that intro riff was BANGIN'
Not even a question that was the best intro jam so far. Cant wait to see what else you do with it on the chug project.
Now THIS is the kind of riffage I miss from you Ola,
I’ll take a drummer that makes a mistake over a programmed one any day
Then Metallica is your band. 🤪
Drum programs show up on time, don’t bring their girlfriends, don’t show up drunk and/or stoned, keep their opinions to themselves.

Amen! 🙌🏼🤘🏼

Worst part of a much modern metal is the programmed and over processed drums
Your intro riffs are always sick but this one... this one was HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY!!! 🔥🔥🔥
That intro, at 7 am on the way to work on a Monday morning, was exactly what I needed!
HAPPY SWOLA!! Summer is approaching us! HUG SOMEONE!!

Hello from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
This is the beast swola riff I heard in a while.
Come to Cadiz, Spain on vacation. We have everthing you need, including plenty of metal.😂
THAT was a great intro, especially that last riff with the syncopation and half time drums into double time, super tight, kick ass!

That green you use for those Solars is such a killer shade ,I need a 6 string in my life
Rabea is indeed sick. We love him!
The FRFR would also have a perfect place in a rehearsing room or bedroom musicians for jamming...
Holy schnitzel the last riff made me drop my coffee. Brootz!!!
The last riff in that intro was too flavoursome 🥞
Awesome! Thanks
holy shit that intro riff at the end is fire!!
You do you during the summer my guy, live your best life!

Evile! Yes! I saw then support Machine Head here in Belfast about 15 years ago and they totally blew Machine Head off the stage. Love the new tune
Take a vacation Ola! Go spend time with the kiddos! We will all be here when you get back!
That ZW Thoraxe is his take on the BC Rich Mockingbird. Tom Morello is raging FOR the machine now, and the John 5 Tele is totally channeling Buckethead.
Yeah, spot on about Tom.
You killed that intro Ola! Dang bro
I was feeling the never more intro, really picked up the Loomis vibes!

Two of those FR's in stereo might be the answer. Take care!
RIFF🖤
I could imagine lane Staley singing on that!awesome!
That Loomis-inspired riff was the sickness.
Decapitated is crazy! Vogg has a machine gun right hand. Nice riff tho Ola you nailed the feel.

Dean Ween was doing those crab squats years before that band existed \m/
