Great story and very cool piece. Love those little penguin foot prints. I have a seiko 5 street fighter ryu and might consider this for my next seiko. Luv the silicone strap its just perfect.
I was interested in this one, but photos and videos may not do it true justice or depiction as it does in person. I had a chance to see one today in person at the Worn & Wound Wind-Up in SF 2022. What made me want this more was the fact the dial is nicely textures, obviously, but what I found less obvious and actually appreciated more was the fact the penguin footprints weren't actually super visible as they appear in a lot of photos and some videos.. at least the example I saw today they were really subtle and had to get close and under right lighting angle for them to show up more. I appreciate that as I wanted the overall dial texture to show up more than penguin footprints. Anyways, it was enough to convince me to finally order one. I am always a big tuna fan, really like the fact they made these 42mm automatic versions, had one, the blue and gold/tan one.. but it didn't quite do it for me colorwise. This one does and I do like that the very few, including this one, has more stainless steel vs black pvd or gunmetal coated. Thanks for the review.

Bought this watch and wow. It wears like a 38 mm on my 7 1/4 inch wrist. It is a great watch but just too small for me. I will be returning it and trying a Monster baby Tuna which has a 48 mm shrouded case. Too bad the Monster baby Tuna doesn't offer this icy blue dial because it really looks great. If I had a smaller wrist I would be keeping this baby tuna. Also the bezel action on this baby tuna is fantastic.
Love the penguin footprints!! awesome. Might be too late to save the ocean though :( So many millions of microplastics infinitely circling our oceans. So sad

great content and vid quality, just subbed! btw, your wrist seems to look a tad bigger than the mentioned 6.5-inch wrist. mine measures at 6.5 while outdoors and shrinks to about 6.3-ish while inside the ofc. Care to grab a tape measure and show us pls as i will be referencing your wrist for future purchases? 😊
They didn't "position" the date anywhere. All these watches in these price ranges use one of 4 movements. This movement the date always goes in that spot - that's just where it is located on the movement.
