Morissette is the greatest singer/vocalist to ever step foot on this planet. A freak of nature. She is truly indeed, the "Asia's Phoenix", an unstoppable force of vocal power and prowess, a symbol for everyone to rise up from the ashes amidst this chaotic times. No one in a human form can execute strenuous vocal skills in one song performance. Her insanely vocal range, control, techniques, dynamics, power, belt, low notes, growls, squeaks, and her signature whistle tones after hitting a high note all in one breath. Can't imagine, how she did all of that. Maybe she forgets on how to be a human, again. It's way too much to handle, inevitably we're having an absolute eargasm. Her music is a gift. A beacon of light when we're lost in this dark times, the warmth in our hearts in this cold life. Listening to her sang send chills to one's soul even after a thousand times. Her entire existence validates that there is still hope and love left in this world.

Is a Filipina singer-songwriter, rapper, dancer, multi-instrumentalist, and television personality.
Born June 2, 1996, Minglanilla, Cebu City, Philippines.
Her family has always been into music, or musically inclined.
She was 3 years old when her family discovered her talent in singing.
She used to sing when she was left alone with a karaoke machine.
She joined her first singing contest held by a radio station in Cebu City
She first rose to prominence when she finished as a runner-up on TV5's Star Factor at the age of 14.
In 2012 she made her professional stage debut in the Repertory Philippines Production of Disney's Camp Rock.
Morissette became Asia's Phoenix Diva and a recording artist of Star Music in early 2014 and released her first album.
She is the first Filipino artist to have her own V-Live Channel, a popular South Korean live video streaming service for celebrities.

Is an all-hits FM radio station based in Quezon City, Philippines and has truly gone out, beyond the conventional, to provide multiple platforms where great Filipino talents can perform live and showcase their music. PERFORMANCE
Though Morissette is sitting in this performance, but then she still performed this song beautifully. Her voice is in volume, calm, whole and well modulated. Her facial expression and body language is relaxing even in her towering high notes. Morissette is still able to smile while she is singing and project and felt the song with heighten emotional feelings.

Upon listening to this live performance of Morissette, it conveys to me a kind of stability and deep reflection while fixing my focus in my mind on the lyrics of this song. Morissette natural and realistic facial aura while performing leads me to the message behind the song.
A lyrics of the song says that: she has a love feeling to his friend, but it is not possible to happen because they are friend, but what she did: SHE PATIENTLY WAIT EVERYDAY IN PRAYER THAT THIS FRIEND OF HER WILL BE HER LOVER. A beautiful attitudes and message of this song to ponder with.
Although it is only a lyric of a song but it is also applicable in reality in our human relationship, in our day to day lives. It reminds us all that we cannot just rush up things as it is, the way we wanted it, at all times in various circumstances, because if we do, indeed it is very risky to our life and to our relationship as well. You can really hear the Mariah Carey influence in her voice with the seamless transitions between chest, falsetto and whistle and her use of runs. Honestly one of the best voices of today.

on your own, go back and turn on the captions so you know what she's saying. I've been aware of Mori for over 2 years, so I can't fault you for NOT knowing of her. There are so many singers to be 'on top of' , it's hard to know where to start or how far back to go with an artist. Mori does have versatility ranging from Never Enough to Phoenix with many songs between them such as Rise Up, Secret Love song (Little Mix), her Moon River mash with a local song. For something faster her cover of Ain't Been Done (by Jessie J) is fun, and this was evidently combined with a photo shoot. Thank you very much for reacting to the Asian Phoenix

I believe it was a flageolet, not a whistle. She was sitting down, singing live with a headset on and her technical skills are incredible. The last belt she did at the end of the song was 14 seconds long without a breath. The ease of her singing is due to her ability to use resonators in her facial mask supported by her diaphragm. One of her best covers is stone cold. Check it out.

She is very similar in sound to Mariah who still has a beautiful voice, love them both. Check out Marcelito Pomoy a really gifted singer you will be amazed. She was just around 20-21 at that time. She did that live while hundreds were listening outside the wish bus. Yes, it’s in a bus.
