I just binged TGCF in less than a day and I’m sobbing- I knew about TGCF for ages and didn’t realize till I saw hua Cheng being saved by Xie Lian- I remember seeing that exact scene 1-2 years ago on a Gacha reaction video. I’m so depressed cause the way it ended. It played that nostalgic music and scenes and like- my heart cracked even more 💀 I’m also probably gonna buy the books cause from what I know, it has more lore and shi-
The same thing happened to me. I've known it existed for years, and I would get it on my tt fyp, but I refused to watch/ read it. Then, a year ago, I decided to finally learn about the fandom, and now I've been drawn into tgcf & mdzs.
(I'm still sad, Fengqing & BeefLeaf aren't canon 😞)
Also, I have the books. And it's an emotional roller-coaster, but I highly recommend them!!
