Thanks for sharing your experience… One question: why do you spread your equipment over 2 bags including one hard case, that you have to carry instead of, for example, one ThinkTank roller case?
Hi Sven, thanks for watching. Yeah it's a good point. My kit has kind of grown gradually so I added a bag on as I had the Peli case already. I did try a huge Peli case to store everything in, but it was too heavy and awkward. I do plan to check out a ThinkTank at some point!
@@Talru I’ve got 2 - both great and capable of 2-3 bodies plus 70-200 and 400 f2.8 MK2, monopod on the side and batteries and stuff inside. MacBook fits in the front. I use this roller case plus a messenger bag.
Hi. Thank you so much for showing us your experience. I was wondering how do you do it on rainy days, does your gear change or your position on the pitch? Also wonder how do you use you laptop to edit and send photos during the games when it is raining. Thank you in advance. Love your content.
Hi Tomas, thank you for watching and commenting. In the rain, the work must go on. I have rain covers for my 2 bodies with lenses on, one that fits over the 70-200 lens and one for the 400 lens. They also cover the camera body. As for laptop, yes, I still edit and send images in the rain. I use a small tent for this called an “iCap”. I’ve had it for years, they’re quite expensive now but they come in very useful. Thanks, Rich
One thing the camera angle on you highlighted was the stool you're using. I shoot with the same one, but I've got one question - how do you go with it for a whole game, or multiple games? Mine is SO uncomfortable! I use thin cushions with mine, but it's still awful, so I've got to get a better one. Is that just me?? I love the stool otherwise!
haha yeah it's a good point. I manage to ignore the lack of comfort, plus I've had worse! I've seen plenty of photographers with cushions on theirs too. I guess I'm just not sure of a good alternative, please share if you find one!
Always thorough and professional
Thank you, and thanks for watching again and for commenting as usual! I really appreciate it!
@@Talru your welcome and looking forward to seeing more of your work
Some very nice photos!
Thank you, and thanks for watching!
