Wow, that UArt paper can take a beating. I love how you beat it into colorful submission, those bottles and reflections seem so real! I second what you said about turning your work upside-down. It helps me a lot, allows my eyes to see what is actually there. One question: could this be attempted by using only NuPastels? That's what I have right now - and a Carbothello Pastel pencils set. I don't really want to invest in more expensive materials until I feel I have at least a moderate grip on this medium! Thank you so much for generously sharing your extensive knowledge, Kay.
