Most states have a online estate sale sites that would probably have headboards and dressers. I bought a 2 piece set for like $100 on Indiana high bid. 😊

Just heads up, I'm not sure if you're aware - but the vintage/antique industry is very heavily oversaturated! 🙈 What this means is that alot of sellers/stores will sell anything that looks "old" or just junk Lol. Alot of stuff from 1980s or 1990s gets claimed as "vintage". It's not true 1950's or 1930s per say. Sellers just use the label "vintage" because it looks old, or that it will sell easily because of the trend. 😳 Honestly, it's very hard to come across true authentic vintage/antique. Most thrift stores won't have it Lol. Owners of authentic vintage will tend to sell it to an authentic dealer or museum. Most thrift store stuff is grandma's closet and kitchen from the 1980s. 😄😅 I hope you find the 2 items you're looking for! It takes alot of "hunting" to find authentic vintage. You could try searching down an authentic vintage/antique dealer which may take time. Authentic vintage may not be readily available because it's so "rare". 👍 I don't buy vintage/antiques anymore but I did learn there's a way to figure out if it's authentic or not by working with dealers. The label "Made In the USA" will have a certain style to it. Also, the wood craftsmanship will be different. Items from the 1940s will have a certain wooden craft to it especially. 👍 I first learned about Allen Michigan when I ordered floral vintage knobs for my kitchen cabinets, that's where the package shipped from. I was curious to know about Allen Michigan since it's only 4 hours from where I live in Northern Illinois. I learned it's the largest vintage/antique town in the nation! 😊 It's cool you got to visit there! I hope this helps you - and anyone else who's looking for authentic vintage! Watching and drinking a Dr. Pepper for the first time in years. I made the mistake of buying the next size of shorts for my son for the next summer and by the time a year rolled around he had skipped that size 😂 (he was 2T last summer and 4T this summer). My sister has three boys and gets all my hand-me-downs now that my boy is bigger than her oldest. ❤
