I don't know ... at some point you have to switch the metronome over to quarter notes otherwise it becomes silly. No musicians counts 8th notes like that.
Repeat alternating each measure 6/8 1,3&4,5,6. Accent the 1 and 5 1,2,3,4,5,6 accent the 1 and 4 3/4 1, 2 e & 3 & accent beats one and 3 1,&,2&,3& accent beat 1 and 2.5 Which one is easier for this rhythm?
@@MrSalito012 ¼ notes, because just as you don't normally practice with a metronome going that fast, no musician after he learns the pattern counts numbers out loud or in their head. Hopefully, accenting "2.5" is not a problem.
It’s actually written in 3/4 and there’s a hemiola that crosses over to 6/8 when the strums are down down up. So it switches constantly between simple and compound meter. Mariachi rhythms are firmly established with syncopations. The more complicated the rhythm the cooler
Could you do a tutorial on how to play El Cascabel on the Vihuela?
I can do a video explaining how to do the basic rhythm. Would that help?
@@MrSalito012 yeah that would help and maybe the notes/chords too?
Coming right up!

Its a metronome app. Let me check which one it was, it was on an iphone.
That sounds similar to the Venezuelan cuatro.

Thank you for that info. You can share your video links on here explaining that for us to learn. That would be helpful.
