Potato Bonda is a common evening snack, that everyone loves. This is prepared during most of the functions at our place. It requires only a few ingredients like potatoes and gram flours are main ingredients. Balls of potato curry are diped in gram flour batter and deep fried in oil.
Ingredients:
Potato 5-6
Onion 1
Green chillies 2
Ginger small piece
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Lemon juice (optional)
Hing
Chilli powder 1/4sp
Jeera 3sp
Gram flour 1&1/2cup
mustard seeds 1sp
Red dry chilli 1
Turmeric powder pinch
Salt to taste
Coconut oil to deep fry and tempering
Water

yes but his attention to detail is good - having small bonde and correct consistency of kadale hittu is the key to get good bondas .also not to turn the bonda as soon as you put it in the oil is what i learnt today
