Kastoria a city by the lake with 300 churches

- Kastoria is one of the most atmospheric cities in Greece, built around the beautiful lake of Orestiada. Famous for its furs and old mansions the city offers for tourism all year round. Kastoria is a whole open-air Byzantine museum. According to tradition, it has "three hundred churches", which date from the second half of the 10th century to the 19th century. Most of them are of unique architecture and decorated with high art murals, making the city one of the most beloved and very interesting religious destinations in Greece.
