For this accomplishment , you deserve to be inducted into the Marco Polo Hall of fame. Three years on a Trike from France to South Africa. Mighty Congratulations.
I'm an orphan that spent most of my childhood and early twenties in trouble with the law. I was lucky that when I was 19 and got convicted I got a conditional discharge, which means that if I do all my sentence with no problems I'm not considered a felon, even though I got convicted of a felony. 5 and half years of probation and I finally got that behind me, took me most of my 30's to figure out what I wanted to do. I rode my bicycle across the USA in 2012 and have never felt so alive. At 45 i'll be getting my first passport in a week and am so excited to see the world on bike! Thanks for this content Yves, its truly is a motivator to keep saving so I can experience this! I'll never have a family or own a home, but i'm determined to live the life of adventure! Happy New Year!
Tell us your UA-cam channel that I can be a subscriber. Good luck to start your journey. I saw a video of South Korean girl rides her bike around the World too. That's truly inspiring! Yves' journey is a testament to the power of determination, resilience, and an adventurous spirit. Yves, thank you for taking us on this journey with you! I first found your channel as you were making your way through Kenya (where I want to visit) on your way to Uganda (the only African country I've been to so far). I've told at least 50 people about your channel and the adventure that you're on. Your videos are unparalleled for those that are interested in understanding what it's truly like to travel across country. When I was in Uganda, I traveled from Kampala to Fort Portal and surrounding areas. It was a blessing to watch you travel down the same roads and reminisce about my own happy time there. I haven't found anything else on UA-cam that so accurately gives the flavor of the experience. Seeing you cross the border into South Africa is an emotional experience! What an amazing accomplishment! Yes, watching the journey is informative and entertaining. But it is something much more than that. It is a call to action - a call to good health, adventure and expanding relationships. We live in an era when it is easy to become isolated and even lost in our devices. Watching your journey is an inspiration to stay focused on getting the most out of life by creating opportunities to expand my horizons. To anyone watching these grand adventures, go! These phones can either be a window to the world or a trap. Don't live out your days merely watching others, like Yves, do great things. Go! It doesn't have to be Africa. It doesn't have to be for 3 years. But find your own adventure. Go! Don't wait until you age out and regret not seizing the opportunity. Go!
