Hi Paul You don't need to open the roof lights. The cover is breathable and air circulates between the gap in the cover. Hope you get the jack points. Cheers Phil.🙂

Hi Paul have u looks under neath on side of the Also chasse there should be a blue plate there bolted on there as u said it looks like the jack been used I wouldn't open roof light as cover is breathable so u b ok what I think some people do is put there heating on to warm the van up and it the worst thing to do it could cause dampness good luck .kev

I only have a bottle jack as we do not have the Al-Ko fittings and, personally, I prefer to decide where to jack, if I ever have to... 🤷🏼♂️ 👍🏻 Good point on keeping the insurance company informed too - we’re having some work done on our ‘van next week, which will require a chat with our insurers... ✅ Hope your Al-Ko fittings arrive and are fitted without too much hassle! Shame about the jacking points, I always use a bottle jack as its more stable and easier to use. Caravan looks good inside Paul. Cheers Martin
