White's MX Sport Depth Test & Comparison

  • A run through and comparison of depth with the MX Sport in highly
mineralized soil conditions. It should do even better in milder ground! I am pleased with the performance. These were also very fresh buried coins, less than a week. Older coins should also do even better. I give it an A for depth. Very competitive unit.
I made the comparison as fair as possible, as I hope all the machines do well. I bought them!

Love all your vids! I just got mine and discovered ZINC pennies sound off like copper and dimes in 4 TONE mode. However, the ZINC sounds distinct from copper and dimes in 8 TONE MODE. Love it )

Thanks for doing this test! I emailed White's and they are telling me they will have additional coil options in the near future for the MX Sport.

Amazing How the MX Sport and and the V3I outperformed the rest in depth !

Trust me!!! Do not buy a V3i!!!
It weighs a ton, doesn’t have the depth of other detectors and you’ll spend most of the time messing with the setting trying to figure out is its set up right...

Enjoyed the comparison vid; completely agree with your opinion of the Ultimate coil; put mine on the V3i last year and haven't taken it off; the D2 is a fine utilitarian coil, but with the Ultimate coil, I've made alot of good finds in previously hunted areas.

Thanks for the video. My soil come in at a ground phase of 53. Seems average. The MXS has found goodies in areas I pounded with other top detectors. Once White's irons out its glitches, the secret will be out. Incredible depth, great mineral handling, and amazing target separation.

Thanks for sharing so much info and details. Your videos really helped me decide on the MX Sport over the AT Pro and the Deus, even the AT max. I'm pulling the trigger! Gonna be hitting the beaches/lakes/rivers and mountains for some gold! Really dig your channel, had to sub! Are you still loving you MXS?

If you want depth try using an Aka Sorax pro signum or crazy depth an Aka Intronik :) I have these and my Nautilus with the huge coil on can match the Sorax with a 6 inch coil. Seriously deep detectors :)

Found you via Whites playlist. I've just got a MX Sport today.
I'm throwing down a challenge for a find of the day - do you want to know more about how iit works?

The MXT is a far deeper machine, you just need to know how to use it properly.
And if fitted with the 15" coil you can expect to hit some coins well over 2 feet and beer cans deeper,
Although it is very big it is Hyper sensitive and very deep and if you are looking for Big Targets It might be a good idea to have a Backhoe close at hand

Wow! A coin at two feet!! Amazing. What's your opinion of the Whites M6 Matrix? I have found some silver with it in what I thought was a worked out area.

Thanks for the videos! My Mx Sport will be here next week, just a question...Would this detector do well or even ok in soil in say Virginia where the soil is that red dirt type stuff. I want to go to that Virginia Digs next year.

I live 30 miles west of Charleston S.C, and in this soil the f75+ picks up the 12in quarter in my test bed in DE mode then blast's it in boost mode. Different soil different results.

Would like to see a test on canadian coins in the ground. I am thinking of buying the sport if it will detect most of the canadian coins.

would you recommend this machine or the at pro? mainly detecting at beaches, ghost towns, and looking for nuggets.

Between the White's MX Sport, White's MXT All Pro, and Garrett AT Pro, which machine would you prefer to have and why? I noticed the specs of all three machines and they aren't far off from each other (with the exception of the MXT not being a water machine). I am debating on getting one of the three for now but would love to eventually own all three. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you.

New York Metal Detecting probably found a machine by now, but mx sport all the way. Waaay deeper and all around more accurate with coins, and in a iron than the mx all pro and Garrett. I've owned all of those. MX sport all the way

I have both at pro and mx sport. White is my go to machine. Love having both so my son and I can hunt together. Both are great machines and can't go wrong with either. I would just buy a water proof machine just in case you get caught out in the rain. I think the white does get slightly deeper finds from stock coils.

Thanks for this vid, very useful for me. What is that background hum I hear on the Sport?

    • @CarolinaCoinHunter

The Mx Sport has adjustable threshold. If the hum goes away you are over a rejected item. Very useful feature.

how many stars of 10 would you give the Whites MX SPORT ? 1 is not good and 10 is one of the best machines.

I know Whites are also made in Scotland but FFS do they have to should like Bagpipes? Hate Whites audio, it just sound cheap and nasty as opposed to Minelab which has SMOOOOOOOTH Audio. Much better IMHO and I've been a White's fan for 40 years .

what kind of coil was that towards the end of your video?

    • @CarolinaCoinHunter
      @CarolinaCoinHunter  8 років тому

The 13 inch Ultimate Coil from detech. They make this coil for several different machines. I've always seen a big improvement over stock with these. The coil for the V3I is available on Whites website.
