Nah, because it was said, that Chop Robinson was considered a developmental edge rusher. A prospect that would need a year to two to develop. Where did we hear that before? yeah Charles Harris. The Fins have to hit paydirt on nearly all of their picks. If a 1st rounder is not hitting the ground running, then, yeah, fans can be super critical of that. We been burned before way too many times.
@@Preh and rightfully so. Oline was the biggest need going into the draft. Losing Hunt and Connor Williams, and nearly zero replacement of either skill set was huge. Not crowning Graham Barton, but he sure is holding his own with the Bucs. Making more of an impact than Chop Robinson, thus far.
Also have to add, if Jaelen Phillips not been lost of the year, we may not even be having this conversation. Remember, Chop was struggling to see the field back then.
The criticism was BS because fans were 😤 that Grier didn’t draft a Guard with the first pick. Grier always likes to go for high value in the first two rounds. Just like this past draft, look how much of the salary is going to Armstead and Chub. Very happy to see Chop taking it to the next level
Reminder that the dolphins went out in free agency and got a center who is playing at a pro bowl/ all pro level for them but they are made the Dolphins didn’t draft a rookie center/guard
He’s not really taking it to the next level it’s just different competition. He still ended up on the ground with his sack. Stafford very easy to bring down. He would have never got that sack against Allen, Maholmes, Murray, Jackson, Hurts etc.
Continued development is the key. I feel some fans confuse 'project player' with a good player who develops throughout his career. I blame the insta grat society.
I love that the other teams see him as a threat. It’s some BS that he’s getting held on half of his reps, but goes to show you he’s creeping towards his ceiling
Glad to see Chop Robinson have a good game. However, I won't crown him yet, like some of the other comments. Have to see this continue and improve. Like I said, Graham Barton would have been my pick. Getting the Oline fixed, was and still is, paramount. Fins Up!
Crazy how people are so quick to call him a bust so early in his career
It was totally ridiculous
@@quikdeath100 literally 1 day into his career lmao, they were just mad because we didn't draft o-line it has nothing to do with Chop.

When is Chubb supposed to be coming back, I know defense played lights out Monday, but I just imagine what we would have done with Chubb as well
