Hey there, you may already know this, but if you copy from one side to the other first in the clip board, you can then copy/paste into the other side. Still inconvenient, but for long answers it's worth it sometimes.
@lexi-vx1pd appreciate the heads up! I do know it but it doesn't always work as expected for me. Also this is an older video and they released that feature and I wasn't aware of it yet I believe.
thanks for the video but just a suggestion, your face is covering most important part of the video so if you could minimize it and put the "face video box" on the right bottom corner, it would be more amazing. thanks for the video
Thank you for the suggestion! It's tough finding a good place for the camera since everything is important. I just try to cover the tryhackme part since you guys have those questions on your tryhackme box. If that makes sense
@@yomarketeur114 It works both ways but is not necessary when copying to THM. I always copy&paste directly from the attackbox to THM when answering questions. Absolutely not possible to copy from THM to the attackbox without using the clipboard.
Just to verify, information is automatically copied to the clipboard on the attackbox when copying from the attackbox to THM. There is no need to open the clipboard unless you need to edit the information prior to pasting to THM.
Encoding serves a few purposes, obfuscation and some applications/ services require it for multiple reasons. For instance if you have a command with special characters and you want to compile it.
I can't believe the MD5 segment required you to copy the parts that said begin openssh private key and end openssh private key.

@@stuffy24 agree-it can be buggy and definitely annoying sometimes!
thank you again, bud!
Thank you!

Normal ctrl+a and ctrl+v work in the decoder boxes
Let's go!💥
great video, next time you can use the tool clipboard to copy and past between the two machines it's more easy.👍
Clipboard is not needed to paste from the attackbox to THM but is needed to go from THM to the attackbox.
@@DURT92 I think it works in both ways

You can use this command for the SSH key
md5sum key*
Perfect!
merci
Why do we encode to asci hex after hashing the key ?
