Nymphadora Tonks or Lupin, more commonly known as Tonks was a half-bloodwitch and the only child of Ted and Andromeda Tonks. She attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1984-1991. Nymphadora joined the Ministry of Magic and trained to become an Auror under the tutelage of Alastor Moody.

Nymphadora's life was such a tragic one. When I saw her and Remus dead and laid out in the great hall, I was more angry than sad that they wouldn't get a happy ending (even though I knew it was coming, it still didn't change anything). Once again, you are doing an amazing job with these "The Life of...." segments.

She was one of my favourite characters along with Lupin. She was such a genuine and unique character. Also I love the illustrations in this video
Nathan Jones Same she wasn’t involved as much and I would’ve liked to see her more in the book series. Her death hit me the hardest considering she had a whole life with Remus ahead of her and a child to care for. Not to mention that she was silly, nice, and cared for Harry.
You know, i played Harry potter; Hogwarts mystery and at the black board in charms class, i saw "Tonks wuz here" and I'm honestly obsessed with her personality! So cute!

Tonks was a very interesting character with a very unique ability and her character development through the three books she is in is incredible.
She was taken from us too soon and was one of my favourite characters. I also thought Natalia Tena was a brilliant actress to play Tonks

So Lupin stopped Harry from killing Bellatrix at the ministry, and Belichick sends up killing tonks.
Lupin didn't stop Harry from killing Bellatrix, he just stopped him from jumping into the Veil after Sirius fell through it.

She graduated the summer before harry went to Hogwarts he went in September 1991 she graduated June 1991

This was an amazingly done video. I nearly cried during the video when u reminded me of just how much the young Lupin family lost, just after it had began, I think it should be taken by everyone as a reminder of how precious life is, and the way that war can tear families apart. Thank you so much for this masterpiece of a UA-cam video, and if I could subscribe to your channel a hundred more times I would. This video deserves five thumbs up from each person that watches it, and anyone who gives this video a thumbs down should be ashamed of themselves.

Great video. I’ve got a Harry Potter Theory here that if it’s good enough in your view would be cool to see in a video. However it is very long but I feel really interesting.
As many of you know when Tom Riddle/ Lord Voldemort was denied the Defense Against the Dark Arts Job by Dumbledore, even though the previous headmaster had promised him the job a couple years before, Tom Riddle/ Lord Voldemort put a curse on it so each teacher that would further take the DATDA job would only last for one year. I think Voldemort’s curse lead to, in some aspects, his downfall and failure to kill Harry Potter.
I am only taking the teachers that taught Harry into account here, the first teacher was Professor Quirill (I don’t think I’ve spelt that right). Quirill tried to kill Harry but was defeated by him in Harry’s first year which obviously lead to Quirill only teaching for the one year, however Voldemort’s curse I feel affected that outcome in some way as the curse meant that Quirill would have only been able to teach for one year. So it sort of meant that Quirill in some way had no chance of killing Harry.
The Second year Lockhart tried to do a memory charm on Harry and Ron but I feel the curse of the DATDA job lead to Lockhart being unable to do this.
Harry’s 3rd year I feel doesn’t have much of an effect.
But Harry’s 4th year was Barty Crouch Jr disguised as Mad Eye Moody. Crouch tried to kill Harry due to Voldemort himself being unable to, I know that Dumbledore will have been able to stop Crouch in the long run due to his Polly Juice Potion running out if for some miracle he’d been able to stay longer then 1 year, but obviously wouldn’t of due to Voldemort’s curse.
Harry’s 5th year he had Umbridge, who tried to in some way to destroy Hogwarts single handedly and get Dumbledore out of the headmaster job. She was close to doing that but because of the curse wouldn’t of been able to stay for longer than one year and was carried away by centares. If she had succeeded I feel Dumbledore wouldn’t of been able to help Harry if he needed it making it easier for Voldemort to attack him.
Harry’s 6th year even though was Snape teaching him who in Harry’s eyes was bad didn’t have a tremendous affect to the job hypothesis.
And Harry’s 7th year didn’t exist.
Also we are unaware of how the DATDA teachers were to be only having one year of teaching so Voldemorts curse may of lead to Quirill dying, to Lockhart falling to do a memory charm on Harry, to Crouch being unable to kill Harry himself, to Umbridge being unable to take over Hogwarts and make Harry vulnerable!
Hope this was an interesting theory!

One of the reasons Lestrange was so set on killing Tonks was because Lord Voldemort teased her with how the family tree was thwarted by Tonks marrying "a beast", aka Lupin the werewolf.

Red 7 standing by lupine was up north near Scotland I believe so number 1. He wouldn’t have been able to get to godrics hollow in time. Number 2. Remus was extremely poor he because of his werewolf status it was hard for him to get a job so his only income pretty much was money from James potter and once that stopped coming in after his death, he became poor and wouldn’t of been able to provide for harry. Also legally in the muggle world harry would of had to live with his aunt and uncle cause that’s how it works cause you know politics....... k bye

My son and I love your videos. He introduced me to the Harry Potter movies when he was in kindergarten and we've seen every one of them. He, his sister and I are reading the books and your videos help their curiosity as the books get longer. For a 12 and 14 year old the remaining books can seem daunting. We're about to begin Goblet of Fire and my little girl thinks it will take a year to read a book that long. Ah, kids. Keep up the good work. As a parent I do enjoy your videos but I also enjoy watching my two young-ins discover the joy of reading and your channel has helped.

I don't remember a lot about her, but it was Bellatrix's husband Rodolphus who told Delphini about her heritage. He definitely took the Bellatrix/Voldemort hanky-panky better than most HP fans, I might add.

You're a very good narrator. One thing about Tonks, for a metamorpher, well, I believe a talent that rare should have been used in the books. If she could change her face to amuse her friends, it would have been great to see her (at least briefly), impersonate people--all without using a potion.
