this makes no sense because they literally used some of 2ne1's music for bp and bp wasnt different cause kpop was already doing hip hop and rap. blackpink just stood out that's all and were also literally called the "female bts" which boosted them to the international audience and if u dont believe me in case u werent there at the time, u can even search this channel's old reaction and see and past reactors from back then and you'll see the comments and reactor saying they heard they're the female bts. ofcourse being called the female bts isnt just going to get you popular, bp clearly had the talent and music to back it for the international audience and not long after the name wasnt used anymore because another fandom was sending hate towards bts on a mass scale with black ocean and more. Do remember that armys supported bp until they joined in on the hate from that other fandom. Just giving context in case you werent there. But yeah wouldnt say bp was different for gen 3, they just stood out.
