Agreed. One of the things I disliked about the other shows was how the "teenage" turtles were basically 20+ year olds. In Rise, they act like actual teens and aren't just edgy 24/7, I love it
Context: Leo thought his brothers were trapped in a pirate prison, so he sought to save them. Hueso and Leo go to a pirate ship and they pretend to be comedians so they wouldn't get caught. So Leo says a joke, the crew do not get it, Hueso makes a joke, the crew laugh. Because Hueso was so serious, Leo called him the straight man.
Lol for those who get the wrong idea, the 'straight man' in a comedic duo means the serious one who essentially would go "against" the punch line of the joke from the goofy half of the duo.
Leo is the brother who does the coolest things, all the time in every version. And I'm glad they came in with the idea of holding onto that aspect, or so it seems.
