As a Motorsport fan I decided to open up my mind to NASCAR since I’m American and NASCAR on road courses is super awesome! It’s truly a shame they only do like 2 a season. Gosh I’d be happy with atleast 6 or half the time. So many overtakes and lead changes. Surprisingly quick around the course too. Amazing coverage. If only they did this more often I think the could get a lot more people into NASCAR !
The pits would be too small at Laguna Seca. I'd love to see them go to Montreal. COTA (which would need a modified pit lane) would be great too. It doesn't look like a track that'd suit a heavy low-downforce car but the V8 Supercars definitely proved me wrong when they went there and I'm sure NASCAR would be similar.
Sir Underbridge That "interesting novelty" has been a big part of NASCAR for many decades. Ever heard of Riverside? Anyway, while oval racing is in NASCAR's wheelhouse, ovals don't always produce the best racing. There are good and bad road courses just like good and bad ovals.

I think that if NASCAR wants to survive they need to switch to road courses, they could do it on the infield courses on most of the tracks they go to have. And they would all have the lengths of the current races now, 90 and 110 (Like Sonoma and The Glen) because most races get WAY too long now. And the only long race would be something Iconic like Indycar with the Indy 500, NASCAR's 2 iconic races would be the Daytona 500 and The Southern 500.
MENCSMonaco24 NASCAR gets far more views and sells far more tickets for circle track races, though I'd like too see more road courses as well. Problem is, there aren't many road courses that NASCARs handle well. They're big, 3,500lb, 850hp, low down force cars designed for driving on banked turns. They don't take hair pin corners very well. They do pretty good with sweepers though.
FYI - Chase Elliott (driving the best car, with the best owner and best sponsor) is now 2/5 of the way to breaking Micheal Waltrip's *ALL TIME RECORD* for THE MOST NASCAR CUP STARTS.............Without a win Grant it, Most of Micheal's career, he drove 3rd Teer Junk. But if Chase Elliott could *pull-it-off* and break the record driving the BEST RIDE IN ALL OF NASCAR. Now that would be something to behold. Fame only lasts 15 minutes. But INFAMY lasts forever.

How much does Kevin Harvick pay FOX to put him on EVERY ad break, EVERY caution break and EVERY time the commentators stop talking? Its like they only have 1 in car camera. It happens EVERY race. You just watch or go back throgh the season and see for yourself. He must be paying them something!!!
