@@napoleon2eme549 I am just starting with Utube Play store version which just gets me into the ballpark of playing. It is fun and learning the basics.
They can also use the "Stratego QuickBattle" board which is another good option, and maybe also a more "QuickGame".
Yes but thw quick battle board offers less possibilities

I played this game when I was a kid I loved it. I'm 54 years old now, but where the bombs and the miners to difuse them? It was a whole board of pieces when i played
This is indeed a 8 pieces format called barrage, but the main category, which you can find some games in my other videos is a 40 pieces games.
Indeed miners are able to diffuse bombs.
You can play on some websites, for example on strategus.appspot, where the latest videos were played.

You need to capture your opponent's flag which is one among 8 pieces. The other pieces follow the rank of the army but are unknown, the upper rank take the lower ranks, but the lowest rank can take the highest one. There is also one piece not moving which is a bomb, any piece going on it will die.
As you say, it's a lot about bluffing!

instead of having 40 pieces you only have 8. Otherwise played as normal

@@John-rw5cx The 8 pieces are as follow: 1 marshall, 1 general, 1 miner, 2 scouts, 1 spy, 1 bomb and of course, the flag.
You can play the "barrage" gamemode online on strategus (search strategus.appspot play on google)

Why wasn't the flag in the far corner captured as soon as it was possible?
It ended up being the bomb, Axel seemed extremely quiet so I hesitated to go for the one just in front of it to check whether he was more worried, but he played well and his body language didn't betray him
