Yeah, Riot´s budget for this was probebly INSANE, but you have to imagine they can do that becouse its in their "marketing" budgeting for the game and the IP. It´s not just made for netflix and for profit as a series but to actually bring in new fans to the universe. I expect it to be the highest quality show thats been in animation on Netflix.
Oh definitely. Finally all that money that goes into the prestige skins is paying out for the fans. Let's hope the series will be great, animation wise AND story wise :D and thanks for watching !!
Riot may be producing, but Netflix is for sure paying for the series. Fortiche in France is the animation studio on the project. They did Get Jinxed, KDA Popstars, Rise, Warriors
I would love for some of them to react to LoL Annie: Origins. I love the art style and would love to hear what they have to say about that. Also "The Curse of the sad Mummy" is probably my favourite one of the League of legends cinematics/animations and also an extremely beautiful art style
Gotta say, I've watched a lot of your videos and I find it so cool listening to Roya and Isabel each time. Like pls, be my teachers, show my animation stuff :D (and yup, I don't know shit about animation, I just like it)
I think that it's all 3d but that the cell-animated render is amazing, to the point that they look like moving paintings. A lot of other folks reacting to the show have commented on the eyes of the characters and how they convey emotion in a way other animation can't. They're slightly out of proportion but seem to be done in the same style as all of the other animated features but damned if I don't feel like a character in the show can convey a complex set of feelings with nothing more than a shift of facial expression or even just by holding eye contact. It is a really incredible articulation of animation that I don't think a live performance can match.
UA-cam recommended this and I like the reaction so I hope you keep doing this :) Also I reccomend you to react this videos of league of legends like "Annie", "Kin of the stained blade" or World of Warcraft cinematics like "Warbringers: Sylvanas", "Harbingers: Illidan". I think are gonna like them.

100% agree. This is why we need more animated series that ate not specifically for kids
