Thank you for detailed explanation. I know basic how fuel system works but aditional explanation give me more knowledge. I bought used rubber boat with 2 stroke 1984 Johnson 25HP last year and I am satisfied. Old, but very robust motor, works very good. I will service it by myself, I hope, with YT help.

So do other manufacturers 2 cycle motors operate about the same
Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki etc?
