I love Sagat, not a big zoner fighter fan but Sagat is easily my favorite zoner in any fighting game! He’s probably the best at anti’airs too. It’s frustrating fighting a great Sagat with his space and large reach advantage sheesh. 💯
Sagat is cool, very honest character without some of the bullshit other characters has. But i feel like the sagat player just has to really be on point.
That's the tradeoff for being honest.
If the character lacks something bullshit, that usually means the character suffers in effectiveness as a result and must work harder for wins.
@Corpsefoot Gaming @TomaHawk PWPT I would like to see a buff on Sagats anti air dp, like it should do way more damage as an anti air. If you jump in at the wrong timing, you WILL take damage and it will hurt. Like give him always the followup of a LK Tigerknee (or something) and or Super, and thats just for starters. Otherwise, you can keep him like he is. I just feel like he needs more damage.
@@phatbastard0alkaline i totally get you. I would see H Thaiger Knee be projectile invul or/and LTK be a 3 frame, keep EX as is as it provides corner carry and plus frames. Other than that (and a little more horizontal reach on Thaiger Uppercut) i think he's fine.
Lol my wishes are more on the frame data side, dmg buffs would be liked as well.

Samurai prides himself in playing logical that he fails to see that that's what makes him weak. He's to predictable therefore the high level opponents know what he is going to do.

I don't believe in character tiers especially when a game is not new. Pros already have enough knowledge to do counter picks which is already the norm in SFV.
Just look at the character representation in every top 8 and stfu

akumas vskill is very effective against sagat zoning. idk why most people dont use it.
Karan Patil no need to build the grey life. It’s only effective if the attack after is in range.

Bonchan the best? His neutral isn’t the best with Sagat, and he still whiffs a lot of HK.
He's doing that on purpose you know. Whiff punishing is very hard in this game so whiffing CC buttons doesnt have that much risk, but if he crush counters you it gives him some good rewards. Also Bonchan's neutral with sagat is amazing.
The whiff HK is to catch opponents standing. You'll see every sagat do that in SFV. Also a lot of characters whiff crush counter moves due the advantage gained from crush counter.
