- Crazy close call from a saltwater Crocodile trying to attack me from behind. Join me on an adventure 2 days camping out in a small Tinny to the Thompson & Lyne River chasing the illusive Barramundi.

Great footage mate. Lyne river is such a spectacular place. Its so good to sight fish,seeing the yellow tails then seeing come hit your lure is unreal.
Sight casting regardless small or big Barra is always a buzz for sure Nick, the land scape of the Lyne and Thompson is crazy good for sure.

I got a few Raptor patriots in my boat up under the side console. They are a great barra lure no matter where they swim. The purple goes well. The iron ore barge had character on the sea. Down to business and flicking in amongst the snags lurked a barra. You got to be in it to win it. Cooler weather will slow them down in my neck of the woods here at Bushland Beach. The contrasting landscape is magic where you are. The dollar eight barra gave you some stick but you were justly rewarded. Sharp hooks that stuck helped you to land it even though the suspense with the croc and all had me on the edge of my seat. They like bull sharks pick up the vibes of a fish struggling so easily. There is a lure out by zerek at the moment and it is purple over gold 130mm long and swims to 1 5m in depth. Wardy's fishing on utube was using it in Weipa. Their no logs when there moving against the current.

Raptor Lures have been a winner this year for me Chris. The Barra will definitely slow down in numbers as this cool weather kicks in for sure but there they’re just got to piss them off 😂. I check that lure out mate. Don’t worry when I heard a swirl behind me I jumped and 💩😂

gday mate , first veiw of your videos . saw you on carneys catch up . of a similer age to you guys and planning on doing much the same . i live on the fitzroy river in rockhampton qld . the barra capital of qld. really enjoyed the show and that croc would have just about done me and gotten the hell out of dodge. the boys who target the xos barra here regulary get 120 130 cm ones . pelagic pursuit just filmed one capture of 132 barra {on utube). best of luck in future and will be looking back through your videos . cheers

The Lyne is where I saw for the first time Barra sitting nose down and tail up waving in the sunlight. Hard to get them to hit bit cold, the jewie hole is kick arse. Running up and down on the mudflat throwing nets for bait is a heart stopper 🤣 especially when there is a jack Russell attracting attention🤣🤣🤣 biggest crabs I have ever seen.
The Lyne is an amazing River haha yeah Jack Russel would be a great snack for a croc and definitely attract a lot of attention 🫣🤦♂️😂. Big lizards there.
