This song has always been so much more than a song for me, it always felt like you go on a journey beyond reality to a dreamworld where all the anger, pain and suffering ceases to be and just let's you forget about everything for a while when you listen to it. It does have a lot I can relate to and therefore it will always have a special meaning for me. I sincerely hope you enjoy this song as well, and whatever the journey it may take you on I hope you savour that as well :)
縷々, or "lulu" as it's read, stands for something which goes on continously, something unbroken.

It makes me happy to see that this has no dislikes :) and honestly my relationship with Nightmare's music is kind of strange. It helped me through an especially rough patch of my depression, and I won't forget listening to their music late at night after having my sleep stolen from me by nightmares...This song has always made me cry.
I recently discovered this song scrolling through an abandoned facebook group and now I feel like I've been missing out. like nostalgic for the otaku goth days that never happened lol

Ahh, another great song for falling asleep. I read once that Nightmare wanted to give the feeling of a coma with this song. I'd say they did a very good job.

+Joris A Oh, now that's an interesting fact about this song and just like you said it fits the song well :) They do say that you experience dream-like scenarios in a coma and that light might be the trigger that wakes you up and those facts can be connected to the song as well.

I'm living the dad life right with my wonderful daughters and that coupled with a full-time job just leaves no energy for me to work on any translations, unfortunately. However, if and when I find the urge again I'll happily return but I can't say when that'll be.

Thanks for the translation. When I first got this album, I sat in the dark and listened to it from beginning to end, and by the time I got to this song, I felt really emotional. Back then I had very very little understanding of Japanese, so I really had no idea of the lyrics. But the whole song itself touched me, and it brought me to the very verge of tears. It had never happened before, and not since.

Always a brilliant song to listen to. And listening to this and something more recent of theirs shows just how much they've changed (for good or bad is up to you =) ). I feel a lot of their older songs stand out much more than their newer material, but then that's just me loving the classic Naitomea having been a long time fan now.

+DynamesProductions Yeah, it just feels like their inventiveness and musical creativity was much greater before. That's not to say they've created some gems lately though, it's just that it feels like they become much more rare as time goes on. I'm really grateful they're still sticking with it tho, not many bands can keep it up after 15 years and provide quality music for such a long time, and as long as they're doing it we just have to be grateful :)

Anthrax904 that's true, sticking to their musical careers together this long is commendable on their part and shows that there is still passion for music in their hearts.
Personally I would say the reason we don't see as many gems from them anymore is due to them becoming bigger and bigger overtime. When you're smaller, you're likely to have a cult following and be able to experiment more easily.
But when you're big in any industry, you also have to start thinking a lot more about the business aspects of what's selling more and what isn't. Basically what is trending right now in the industry. Plus also depends on the production company they work for.
