IMO what will put FSD over the top is when they integrate Grok AI. Being able to give your car driving tips with natural language and let it continue to handle the maneuvering will be a game changer. For example, explaining where the entrance to your driveway is, where to go and park in a complicated parking lot, what lane it needs to be in when it makes a mistake, etc.
Im really looking forward to this. Integrating an AI like Grok into Tesla's FSD could indeed transform the driving experience, making interactions more conversational and adaptive. Imagine giving your car real-time instructions in plain language, like "take the next right at the light" or "park in the spot near the big tree." This could not only make navigation more intuitive but also allow for immediate corrections when the system veers off course, enhancing both convenience and safety.
@@timefly4221 I don’t think grok will do that near term too complicated to tie into fsd for now. Probably just take care of in car controls for heat etc, ability to ask questions for now.
@@dangflo Initially I would agree. But receiving guidance from the driver is such an obvious solution to handling edge cases in FSD that I think they will make it a priority.
Hey man! Great coverage of FSD. One thing, the font in your thumbnails is really hard to read which may cause people not to click on it. Just a thought!
@@FSDRoboRides For sure! Both iPhone 14 max and macbook pro. Namely the numbers, for instance the 126 in this thumbnail looked like i 26 so I thought it was a highway haha. I love that it's the Tesla brand font but it's not super clear!
So far loving v13.2.2! It's the first version that convinced my wife to buy Lifetime! By the way, I think some speed bumps are included in the map data and wouldn't show up on the visualization.
seeing fsd in the snow= super helpful thx!
My pleasure I wish it struggled a bit less lol

We officially got 8.5 inches of snow in St Louis. yesterday. No one is out today.
Wow looks like a good testing ground for some parking lot donuts.
What were all those sounds around 9:45 ?
That was Model Y hitting seams of the road at each section they connected the pavement.

I appreciate that feedback what device are you using to watch the videos? What font do you think would work better?

That’s so exciting that you guys upgraded. What leads to believe that some speed bumps are map data?
@@FSDRoboRidesIt came from a few of Chuck Cook's videos when he does his standard gauntlet and he's passing through the "speed bump neighborhood". 😊
@@originalambival I need to watch more of his stuff.
