All Dialogue from "Liara's Project" Scene from ME3 (1080p)

- All the dialogue from the "Liara's Project" scene from Mass Effect 3.
This is the scene where Liara comes into Shepard's cabin and gets his/her input on what to include in the time capsule.
The dialogue changes depending on a number of factors, including the player's class, origin and notoriety.
Note: Just contains the FemShep parts, since the male Shepard dialogue is exactly the same, except that Liara will just say "him" instead of "her". I didn't add it simply because it's identical and would of made the video twice as long.
Now this is how a dialogue compilation video should be, no hearing the same damn lines over and over again to get to the different bits
It's cool to see class specific lines, we don't have many of those
I think the *only* other one is when fighting Shepard's clone, that little clash can be biotic or omni blade
Omega DLC also has the scene where an engineer can ignore the choice between cutting the fence asap with civilian casualties or slower but without civilians dead. Just does it fast and without casualties.
@Zain844 Shepard and others will mention the chosen class in ME1 sometimes, though it's rare
I found one more, when they explain Grissom Academy they will state it's for talented biotics and they add for Adept Shepards that "if it were around when you grew up, you might've ended up there." I appreciated it! My Adept never got the recognition that Jack, Samara, Aria and the other asari got!
@@rikzz0r they say the same for the Vanguard class as well
They need to do more class specific scenes
Like when you headbutt the Gatagog krogan in me 2, if you are a vanguard, your teamates would say "be glad it was not a biotic charge" to uvenk
But that would required work and being Adept solves whole lot of problems in Mass Effect.
Yeah, the "I ain't stupid" engineer scene in Omega DLC was great.
@@tlotpwist3417 that would have been awesome. I always play vanguard and i would have loved something like this
There's a class specific scene in the citadel scene, it's a fight scene surprisingly.
good stuff man, I love the format for this.
If there were a channel with alternate dialogue vids for ME set up just like this I'd so subscribe. I'm always trying to find all the unique dialogue.
So Liara did the entire codex in the game
............
...........
..........
HOLY SHIT
No wonder it doesnt match with the actual game. Liara always made up stuff.
BY THE GODDESS!
Balanced morality as a Colonist Sentinel. Definitely seems to be the best combination, in my opinion.
Eh I prefer adept honestly
Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
@@knightsotl796 paragon spaceborn vanguard for me
Finally some one put this up thank you very much
The moment I left tali and go for liara, I immediately regret and load the last save game
Hope Liara didn’t include Shepard’s opinion on batarians
Liara is so sweet! even more than Tali
Goddamn I love Liara
Such a powerful scene but sadly it doesn't reach its full potential. Here's my take.
Give the prompt to invite Liara up after Citadel coup and before Thessia. Gives her just enough urgency to meet with Shepard.
Liara explains the project. Shepard gives his opinion. If Liara is your love interest, then she expresses her concerns about the future of their relationship. Citadel attack has shaken her.
You can reassure her that you're in this together no matter what. Liara is relieved. They sit on the couch, Liara leans against Shepard's shoulder, he plants a kiss on her forehead. A much better way to lock-in romance than that awkward presidium conversation.
Conversely, you can tell her that it isn't working anymore. Liara is devastated. She barely holds back her tears and returns to her cabin, leaving an equally gutted Shepard alone. You're free to pursue another.
If Liara isn't your LI, then the scene plays out normally.
can anyone tell me which song is this in the background
Fredo "I was lost without you"
The best looking asarian i'v ever see, Aria the second
Asari.
Also Liara was there since the first game, well before Aria.
@@YourCrazyDolphin regardless no one fucks with aria then again liaras in the same boat I mean what’s with the asari that makes them complete badasses
steak, liara. I think about when there's so much steak.
I fucking love steak
SHEPARD I'M A REAPER DOOMSDAY DEVICE!
OH SH-
Doctor Chocolates!
I know. I wish I had your confidence. What if these are our last days and we spend them screwing around?
I made him a steak
It's kinda touching that Liara chose Glyph to be the avatar for her records. The little guy is so earnestly helpful and amusing that I can't help but be fond of him.
I wonder why EDI could not slip into darkspace, wait few thousants years, and then return to warn/guide new cycle. After all, she is immortal, and more flexible than just a VI.
@@bengunn9670 She would get bored within a decade.
She might run tests on the planets.
Wait, I think I'm mixing things up here.
@@bengunn9670 at best she creates another AI to wait in a dormant state. Being a "child" of Edi and Joker to hold off until a new race is discovered.
This part made me fear you could fail stopping the reapers in the finale
They prepare you for the worst
I like this. Even if the Crucible failed, this would work far better to prepare the next cycle than anything the previous cycles ever did.
Potatomania ! That’s the root of the refuse ending, in the next cycle when Shepard doesn’t use the Crucible the new spacefaring civilisations find her data caches and stop the Reapers
@@hexmaniacciaran Not if Admiral Hackett was right about the fact that the next cycle would be dominated by the Yahg. (Shadowbroker)
@Hivemindtime they're Krogans on steroids and violence inducing drugs and THAT sould tell you something.
Wasn't the Crucible always destined to fail?
@@sooneradmirer4382 To be fair, the Yahg would have at almost 50,000 years before they have to deal with the reapers, so they would have plenty of time to evolve.

I don't get it... what's the joke?
@@alexanderthegreat5649 its a reference to a Monty python sketch.
This was genuinely such a touching scene :,)
Why can't they put that damn box in Mass Effect Andromeda?
Because Liara's VIs were only spread in the Milky Way.
Actually, given Reaper capabilities, what's stopping them from sending one or two sovereign class ships on Project Andromeda anyway. Its already well established they can travel through the gaps between galaxies like its made of candy
@@BlackSkullArmor We're talking about Liara's VIs, not the Reapers.
Hyperion go to andromeda when u playing ME2 m8.
She made the box after the Arks left. So there was no way she could get that information to them.
This Scene was so beautiful. One of the best Sci Fi Stories ever!
your shepard is very distracting
Me: what do you mean? *looks at video* oh dear God!
Michael Relaford Carrot Shepard lmao
The first draft for engineer said "Shepard was an idiot who misclicked on the class selection screen".
Engineer is actually pretty badass when equipped with an assault rifle. Not sure why it gets a bad rap.
Can't stop laughing 😂.
@@FreemanicParacusia Yeah look there are no wrong classes but each game had its OP classes (adept and infiltrator in ME1, sentinel in ME2, infiltrator and vanguard in ME3) and engineer was never one of them.
@@Robert399 - Sentinel in ME3. Nothing beats 100% damage resistance.
@@ZorroCeleste1 Vanguard gets infinite i-frames through Charge-Nova-Nova spam (though I actually found the damage pretty weak late-game). Infiltrator is by far my favourite, with semi-auto, body 1-shots with the Black Widow (on Insanity).
Like most people have said, it's nice to see something like this. I've only seen this scene twice, once as a Paragon/Spacer/Solider and once as a Paragon/Earthborn/Adept. It's cool to hear the other stuff. Thanks for uploading! :)
SHEPARD IM A REAPER DOOMSDAY DEVICE
Shepherd to the reapers I'm in danger!!!?? No I am the danger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
love this was a colonist, infiltrator, paragon so I love watching this over and over agian
yo, same here dude
Spacer, soldier, paragon. Loved every second of this scene.
Lol I romanced ash in me1, no one in me2, but this made me like liara.
In the first game, I spoked to Liara and she asked me if I liked her back. I turned her down because she looks so ehh. So I banged Ashley. In the 2nd game, I banged Miranda lol. In the 3rd game, I didnt like how Ashley was treating me in the previous game and the 2nd attractive female in my squad was Liara so I gave her a shot. During this scene, I felt like I made the right choice.
the one thing this scene lacks is unique dialogue for a romanced Liara
They did a line for every different class? They did this while a lot of the rest of the game feels so unfinished. I wonder what ME3 would have been if they worked on it for a year or 2 more
Nice vid, I was curious when I heard Liara talking about my class and background, so this avoid another playthrough with a class or choices I really wouldnt like! Thanks.
Thanks for posting this, I was curious to know what else Liara would say.
Really hope that her project/box/VI/guide thing, is going to be an easter egg we can discover in Andromeda.
I kind of doubt that considering that her VI guide box are only on planets in the Milky Way
Ohh the youthful hope the fans had for andromeda
We were so young and naive
lmao!!! :D totally different galaxy dude, and the game blowed!
Not gonna happen i think, bcuz Hyperion Ark begin their journey to Helius when we playing ME2.
Basically
Biotics class: She/He was the most powerfull biotic of the Human race.
Tech: She/He was skilled technicial and hacker.
Soldier: She/He could shoot you with a rifle really hard, you know .
And that is why Soldier is the most lame class to play in all ME games.
Altrough still a most Powerfull class pick is first 2 games.
Wind Wind
I chose soldier just for the m-76b revenant thats my favorite weapon on all the games
Edit: and i dont know if another class can use it
sharkbunny krogan - Nope, only the Soldier. (Pair it with a 70% Adrenaline Rush, and...)
Once you get the AR bonus, the others aren't that far behind in ME1. And imo, Vanguard, Sentinel, and Infiltrator are all more powerful. Adept is great fun at low difficulty, but gets fucked over on the higher levels.
All my $0.02 of course, and I'm admittedly a lousy engineer, never could get the hang of it.
MPrime - I play an Adept! ...but with an Assault Rifle bonus.
Soldier is boring.
Ugh, this was so heartwarming for me ;-; (Mindoir/Infiltrator/Paragon). So nice.
I know I'm way late to the band wagon on this game; only having started in April. I played one run through as a paragon soldier colonist and i did ok. i had a high war score and went 'red ending' but I didn't get '"THE" ending.
So I decided to replay the game but this time on insanity because I like pain (ME2 being an actual ring of hell in its own existence)
I went Paragon Earthborn Vanguard and I spent over a hundred hours through all three games and i discovered things and scenes in my insanity play through that i missed in my first play through. This scene being one of many.
My play style was pure abject chaos, bouncing from one target to the next across the entire field of battle and continually slamming my face into Mechs, brutes, banshees and everything else in between because that's what kept my shields up and kept me alive and kept me fighting.
So stumbling upon this scene, having no prior knowledge of it, I was happily surprised and in awe of this game all over again. I became so invested in my insanity play through character that i felt closer to my Shepard and all of the companions because the fights are so much harder. So seeing and hearing Liara call me a 'Powerful Biotic who was nearly unstoppable when i charged into a fight' was so heart warming, so gratifying, so rewarding that i realized i loved this game all over again.
I finished the play through and i got over 8,000 war score and i got "THE" ending and in my head My Shepard went to build that damn house on Rannoch.
For any new or veteran players i highly recommend romancing Liara in the first game even if you dont in the other two. Her scenes and interactions with Shepard are soooo much more loving, heart warming and heart breaking if you do so.
I will forever love this game. even from a two second log dialogue that can easily be missed or changed.
I keep discovering new lines in every new run, new alternate scenes depending of my choices. For example I had one goal in my newest run: having Mordin not loyal in ME3, I worked hard to keep him alive in ME2, there were different dialogues regarding the genophage and Maelon's cure and I loved the fact you could have Wrex not angry about you but still have the data destroyed which offers a few different dialogues between Shepard and Wrex. Now I discovered that balanced morality line with Liara when you're basically neutral (eventhough it doesn't exist in ME3) and it's those moments that motivate me replaying it over and over again
So you're not alone in this regardless of when you started playing it for the first time, the trilogy is a journey that can last for a lot of hours!
I could never romance her, I see her as a best friend, a sister, no matter how hard the game tries to canon the romance. Idk I love her that much 🥺
Same goes to Tali. She's like my little sister. A fiesty little sister who I cared for and could never romance
OKAY BUT WHAT'S THE NAME OF THE SOUNDTRACK IN THE BACKGROUND??? SOMEONE TELL ME PLEASE?
I think it's the Mass Effect 3's official romance thems "I was lost without you"
Thanks putting this together. It was wonderful to see all the scenes put together.
Don't mind me, just putting in what I might hear eventually during my first playthrough.

Clickbait title. This doesn't have any Male Shepard dialogue.
I'm joking, if that wasn't clear.
It's nice to see Shepard's biotic powers being acknowledged..
I know, right?
I’m also shocked they even mentioned their tech abilities.
This was just what I was looking for, thanks, for putting this up!
Your female Shepard reminds me of Milla Jovovich in the movie The Fifth Element 🙂
This is why Liara is Shepard's lady; and Tali and Garrus are my canon ship.
We need an option to romance both Garrus and Tali at the same time
Perfection
Liara was giving off Aria vibes by the way she was sitting at the end of the video.
Imagine if you found this thing and could understand it what would you do
imagine finding this in 2018- idk who i would show it to
I remembered this scene has class specific lines, but I didnt remember how somber it was, jeez
imagine digging this up with all this reaper data in it..
Hey this was a great video
Honestly my first play through I did vanguard...and infiltrator female for the second and now I'm doing Male Earthborn Sole Survivor soldier (or in my personal case Marine (Infantryman) lol for my third playthrough. To be honest that made me feel good, I am academically gifted, but I really was proud to be in the infantry...when she said he was an expert at any weapon system and the deadliest soldier this Galaxy had to offer. It made me really fill up with pride. I have a nice career now and the legendary edition was my first playthrough while over a decade ago in the barracks I watched all my brothers playing this game and never thought to give it a shot. For me the Soldier/Marine Earthborn and balanced reputation really spoke to me. I don't have Biotic powers, I am not an engineer though I like science but hate math...(but I can do them I just don't like to), but I do know how lead by example, I don't miss often, and while other MOS's (mil. Jobs) make fun of the Army and Marine Infantry thinking we're all too dumb to do anything else......believe it or not we are proud to be infantry because the majority (contrary to popular belief)....actually volunteered for the Infantry. There is literally no better asset than a volunteer.
Something about Infiltrator plus spacer plus Ruthless but being Paragon just feels ironic, funny and cool
I'm guessing Liara learned about her backstory with melding
Paragon, colonist, infiltrator was damn emotional. It "almost" made me wish I stayed with Liara instead of Tali.
Man I love this Music!
Shepard im a reaper doomsday device
Bioware really made it out that Liara was the main love interest in the whole trilogy
Thanks for putting this together. Getting all classes/backgrounds must have been a lot of work. Very well-presented!
How do you balance morality? I play paragade (paragon/renegade) but she always says the paragon things about me
This could've been so much better with subtitles.
Folks, when you do those really lovely "all possible content" compilation videos, please do keep in mind non-native English speakers and try to make life easier for them.
Ivan Shapovalov Listening and understanding what is being said is a key part of learning a foreign language. In real life, there aren't any subtitles, so relying on them just hinders your progress.
communists want it all served on a plate, lazy and exploiters, they never change
I EAT HORSES
Nice work, always wondered what she say about the the different classes. Most of the time I go for either the soldier or infiltrator class.
Slap the BackOFF mod over it and it gets even better if she's your LI
Still good 10yrs later. Thanks mate.
If it wasnt for the time capsule, there wouldnt be as many play throughs with slight variations just to hear Liara make the distinctions.
Been looking for a video regarding just this, thanks!!!!
Colonist Survivor Vanguard with balanced morality, determined to not only survive, but save too. Intimidating - even brutal sometimes - toward strangers and assholes, but as sweet as a puppy with needy people and good friends. Always doing Paragon decisions (except for the Council, these ones are assholes). Impetuous in combat, leading the charge and pushing everyone to fight the Reapers (can't stand cowards and idles).
Fuck the Paragon and Renegades, balanced heroes are the most enjoyable. Never enjoyed playing Shepard that much.
What is the balanced morality threshold?
Paragon and renegade below 70%
Or is it something else?
I'm pretty sure it has to be lower than that. I think around 55% for the one and 45% for the other.
I remember playthroughs with 70% paragon and i got the dialoge of peace-maker, so it has to belower than that.
been a while for me though... so i'm not sure
So uh... old ME series show how a 'young' asari should look like.
You are the best, thanks for making all this work
who is cutting onions ?

Perfect video! :D
great vid!
The middle option sounds familiar almost a call out to the beast wars Transformers show. Those where Dinobot's last words
Ah memories....but who else thought it was a ring at first?
That was the moment I decided I had to romance Liara in ME3.
ME1: Ashley
ME2: Miranda (I know it should have been Tali, ok?)
ME3: Liara
At least you're aware that you should've romanced Tali
I find the fact that she is an archaeologist and therefore knows advanced computer technology offensive. Computer Science is more than knowing how to use Word and Google.
Haha, lighten up buddy, you can always have interests in other fields.
(I am actually a computer scientist so I should know)
I started out in a bridging course between computer science, electrical engineering and information systems. What I mean is someone who has just a side-interest or hobby cannot possibly have that kind of skill. There is a war asset if I remember of an Asari who spent much longer than Liara has been alive on nano circuitry whilst Liara has spent most her life being an archeologist and only like 2.5 years as the shadow broker. In the first game she said her whole life was the protheans!
Keduce22 And why do you think that she built the components and whote the code herself? She provided the data and the perspective. Gliph did the coding, or EDI, or any assistent VI. It's her project, but it doesn't mean she did every single part of it. And as an archeologist, she knows how technology are preserved through time.
That device would not only have to have sophisticated hardware. The software (computer science side of things) would also have to be highly sophisticated. As the shadow broker she would not trust anyone with messing with her personal VI. It is also implied to be of her own creation.
+Keduce22 she ment that she was able to acess and interact with prothean tech which has lasted 50 thousand years and knows what it takes to make it last 50 thousand years
