Just found this channel. Gives me serious nostalgia cuz of how close this channel reminds me of RadioTTS. They're still up, but they don't upload as frequently, so it's good to have a new channel to listen to.
Reminds me of some years back when i still used Facebook someone on my friends list uploaded a video of what he thought was some serial killers burial ground deep out in some woods in Long Island, there were about 100+ missing person posters either stapled to the trees or hanging off the branches by some wire of women who’ve been missing in the new York state area as far back as the 60s, the video went somewhat viral and got the attention of authorities and i think even then FBI, after an investigation it was apparently ruled that it was a dumb prank gone wrong (guy who took the video had nothing to do with it) but still, definitely creepy af to randomly find deep in the woods
Definitely the only Reddit channel worth watching. Appreciate the pictures included when you can, plus the old school green text music lol. Cheers man, keep it up!
I'm convinced that the majority of weird things that happen in forests and abandoned train tunnels etc are just idiots who try to scare people with the crazy stuff they leave behind. They probably leave the stuff and never return to the same spot, knowing that someone eventually will happen on the items and freak out.
I, as a person who watches way to many videos like this and scary hiking stories, do NOT go into proper forests. I HAVE gone to what I call the "murder forest" which is a small nature preserve thing that's entrance is right next to a graveyard, and the sign is kinda overgrown. its a fairly popular place for bikers since it has a bike path, and it has a few paths that go into the more forest parts. saw a few deer there, it was pretty cool. anyways one time I went there I like, kept hearing something following us when we were on one of these paths, kinda to the side of us. that was kinda creepy, but I was with other people and we don't have anything worse they coyotes here, so worse that could have happened is we would have had to yell at some coyotes to scew off or like, charge a murderer. there were 2 other ppl with me so once again, not a big deal
also, youtube warned me with the "keep comments nice" cause I wrote "fuck off" instead of "screw off". youtube I'm talking about wild animals who were potentially stalking me, chill out
I live next to a national park here in Finland and we have free access to roam them as we please. Around 10 years ago I got really into studying local fungi and plant life and I was basically playing Pokémon Go snapping pictures of plants I hadn't seen before. This little chase made me roam through every type of area the forests had to offer, as specific plants thrive in specific conditions. I found a lot of interesting stuff in the woods. 1. I found a glass bottle with an entire ecosystem living inside of it. It had obviously been thrown there years and years ago, and it had a little bit of dirt inside of it and out of that dirt I could see tiny little plants growing. They were definitely actual leaves and not moss, which made this discovery feel really magical. I couldn't definitively identify any of the plants there because the bottle was a bit murky, the leaves were so tiny and -- quite frankly -- I'm still not an expert at identifying everything at various stages of development throughout the year. 2. Somehow, very deep in the woods where no paths existed, I found this completely rusted up old wreck of a car. It was something probably from the 1930s. What's incredible is that this car was amidst tall trees with the nearest road being god knows how far away. I couldn't quite put together how it could possibly have ended up there. It was super rusty and there was nothing inside. 3. Sometimes I scour through old maps, books and just satellite images in search of cool stuff to check in my little forest excursions. One time I discovered there had been ancient mining activity somewhere around a little hill that was already familiar to me. Apparently limestone was quarried around these parts even up to a thousand years ago, but these specific mines were dated to be from the 1500s. I spent so much time trying to find these pits that I nearly gave up, until I found a pinesap (Monotropa hypopitys) for the first time in my life! I took a bunch of photos and I was exhilarated, and just because of that discovery I decided to walk around and search for a tiny bit longer. Well, 5 minutes later I believe I found the mine, but they were just completely moss-covered little pits that honestly didn't look like much. That pinesap saved the day, though! 4. A bunch of corpses.
I once found a bag of bones most of them are just fossils, one of them was a megladon tooth, one bone looks sus tho, looks like a femur bone, but hey a bag of random fossils is a bag of random fossils.
That.... absolutely sounds like the EXACT Type of thing someone would plant/leave on a trail just for some sh*ts & giggles... Probably their large dogsn,",yummy yummy!" Leftovers
We have a toilet seat on a built plywood box in the middle of nowhere Idaho wilderness. Mountains. It's called 7 Devils area of mountains. My boyfriend and his hunting buddies built it. It feels really strange sitting there in the middle of an area and just some trees around you. Talk about feeling vulnerable. It's nothing like just copping a squat to pee. Lol! Don't use it for peeing anyway. So yeah, ur there a little longer. Nobody else is going to be around though
My friend and I found a playgirl in the woods when we were about 12 or 13. In all fairness, it was more of a park trail than actual woods or forest, lol.
About 5 or 6 years back my family went to day-camp in a hidden camp ground. It was very secluded and was surrounded by huge hills on every side. Me and my cousins, (who were all under the age of 10) began climbing up on one side of the hill. As we were climbing and messing around we noticed a bassinet tucked between some rocks and trees. Curiously, we drew closer to this mysterious bassinet. It wasn’t until we had gotten about 5 feet away from it we noticed what looked like a baby inside this bed. We ran back to the adults fearing we had discovered a dead infant abandoned deep in the woods. My dad went and inspected our findings. Instead of a dead baby was a baby Jesus doll. From there the adults began to discover life size models of Mary, the wise men and the shepherd. Very strange and very unusual. We honestly just forgot about it and went on with our day. It wasn’t until months later we went back up to the camp ground and stayed at another campsite. And there at that campsite there was another set of baby jesus, Mary etc strewn about. So incredibly weird.
Not a forest, but me and my brothers found an abandoned car full of bullet casings from at least three different kinds of guns in an empty field not far from our house. It was a pretty interesting find.
The one about the toilet in the woods, at 28:25 that’s the way to do it. Become one with nature. A guys dream. To have a toilet in the middle of the woods to crap in.
18:32 this! 🏆🤪Is my favourite!😂🤭🤐me…”Crikey! Mate…You just gave me a killer Grizzly Adams childhood flashbacking 🎉ball trippin jump scare mindfrik! I love it!!❤🤦♀️
When I was like 8 we lived in a dormitory on a huge factory land in the Philippines that my parents ran for my uncle in Taiwan. I used to try kill frogs that were under rocks by bonking them. I swear I found a piece of a bottom jaw one time. It was too big to have been a cats, there was a lot on the property. I wish I could know what it was.
I found a dead bird in a jar of what looked like blood. Not really that scary or anything just weird, I had a feeling it was teenagers being edgy because teenagers were the only ones who went down there
a rotting diaper that was covered in poop, this was in the Nertherlands in 2016. I will never forget the smell 😬.this was at a sort of holiday woods with huts in them and cabins and we went to number 147 cabin if you are wondering.we had to go to reception of the site we were on and tell them to remove it, thankfully they did.
I'm 90% sure the second story took place in Saint Louis. When I heard Forest Park I raised an eyebrow but then I heard them mention Kennedy Forest and that pretty much all but confirms it. I'm from STL and have been to FP many times, but I've never walked any trails near the Kennedy Forest but I assume it's more concealed than the rest of the park
@26:40 So, you slept under a sheet in the outback, but you tied your food up in a tree. Maybe I’m an amateur but that just feels like you’re baiting yourself to be eaten alive. PLUS AUSTRALIA, WHYYYY
oh yeh dw, theres vid today. I spent a bit more making this one because I just felt I didnt have the right music, sorry If I interrupted you guys daily background noise lol ❤️.

this channel is the reason i started watching reddit stories on yt again, the stories are new and the music is always on point. great channel!
ty for the support :d!
The reddit stories are nice, but most of these channels use that monotone A! voice.
@megakirbo4250 I love it bc it helps me going to sleep.

Let's hope you're right.
Hey if they go out with the intention of something like that and it gets completed to its initial goal, are they an idiot?

To answer this question. Nature. Of either the outdoors or man.

16:23 - I get sleep paralysis like this sometimes. Just someone standing over my bed talking about me. Absolutely terrying lol

The toilet story made me think of Rick and Morty 😂
Lol love how the first story got called out for being fake af that early on
