For those who have no spotter or Smith machine, but have access to Landmine either at gyms or at homes, the 2-handed Landmine chest press (an incline press) comes as close to the exercise shown here as you can get. This became my go to move to train my upper and inner pecs since I bought the Landmine attachment for my power rack at home. Give it a try. 👍
@@kilam2212 I do that on the knees, you can also do it standing which I found to be easier. Doing it on knees also train your core stability. Have fun!
The pushups are incredible, thanks for that Mr.Glass. I am incorporating them in my workouts together with a nylon strap at different lengths to do an isometric at the end of each rep. I see that these "body compressed" pushups are more intense and can easily be adapted to suit anyone's needs.
great exercise it hits middle chest l do these 2 exercises at the end of my chest workout, also if l don't have a spotter l set up the safety bars on the smith machine and just slide into position and rep it out 💪💪

His physique was perfect in his heyday. That's the balance of muscle and aesthetics. Not slabs of unwieldy muscle but just straight jacked usable power. He didn't look awkward moving around then and he looks great now. Moves smoothly and stands up straight. That's intelligent and thoughtful approaches to injury free training with a future into older age
Thank you for these videos Mr. Charles. You are a wonderful person. An absolute legend! Willing to share your wisdom with people who can't afford trainers, that's SOUL
I do this at the gym on the Smith machine and it's amazing how many people look at you like what the heck are you doing. Had a guy ask me if he could try a set. Now I see him doing them twice a week.
Truth be told, I consider myself to be someone whose an intermediate weight trainer, meaning I'm no professional. I have been lifting weight for 20 years. But there is NO WAY if I was working out at a gym and saw Mr. GLASS there as a trainer, that I would not become his trainee. Much respects Sir.
im training calisthenics for 4 years and always do this exercice cuz its the only solution to build inner and upper chest with body weight only 😂 but there is hight pressure on shoulders
Sir it's request for you pls home workouts video make with dumbbells all body part pls sir please. Chest, Back, Shoulder, Thai, Biceps, Triceps, pls make video home workouts with dumbbells plz plz.
You can basically workout with him through his videos. Just apply his teachings to your workouts. Also, try your best to motivate yourself daily and to stay consistent. Being physically fit/strong & just healthy overall is the number one MAIN goal for exercising. Everything else after that is a plus. Can't beat it. Also boosts your confidence level and gives you a better mental state
Dear Charles, I have Scheuermann disease: simplifying my back is rounded which is genetical, so if I would train my chest without this pad I would always push from anterior and triceps because I would always find myself in a "pit" if you can imagine. This PAD seems to be a solution but as you can imagine I have way bigger arms and delts, kinda' abnormal comparing to my "chest" which is as flat as a highway. My question is: is it okay if I use the GOB PAD (which I have been using for months now and the progress is incredible) for all kind of chest related exercise, to "manually" lift (force) my chest to have the same position just like if I did not have this disease? (Also, this exercise would not be exception) Looking for your advice. Zsolt
If you're doing this without a training partner, how do you twist the smith machine bar back to locked position once you're done the set? Is it possible, or just too risky to try solo?
Found my answer on another person's video - put the stopper just above your forehead , giving you enough room to slide into position and leave the bar unlocked as you push up and down. Got it, will try next chest day :)

What has this skull cap to do with bodybuilding????
So are these types of push ups in this video for inner chest more effective than diamond pushups?
They all get the job done. this is just another variation you can try!
Thanks I definitely will try these also, and see how effective they are. I really appreciate your response.

What do you do or what can you use if you don't have that attachment
How does one do this exercise alone? I use this machine via planet fitness. Or would you recommend a variation like possibly diamond push ups?
Im trying that shit tomorrow, but since i train by myself, any tips on how to do the smith?
Can this be done with dumbells? Like neutral grip each one.
Glad for this channel legend
U can do it with the hammer bar or triceps bar
CG is just the best yo!
How can i do this by myself? How can i lock
Whats the name of that first exercise? I just tried it for the first time today.
I love you sir & I always follow your technic
Perfect what I've been wanting to see..thank you 🐐🙏🙌
Would a hex press with dumbbells be the same if u workout out alone?
How do you do them without a spotter
Mr Glass content is amazing
I am going to try a dumbbell
What about the Champagne Press?
More power to you sir. I'm from Philippines
How is this different than pressing with a tricep bar?
What a great tip! 👍👍
I do like it!
Sir please make a video on Deadlift🙏🏻
Will do soon
Yea this is good info. I like to hit diamond pushups as well.
That hit the triceps more. My dad said the same. Thats how he got a big split between his chest
@@kingkhi3497 Triceps and inner Chest. You just have to focus on the chest
