No, it doesn't. It needs to be a repo within the same workspace.

Cool features! A question though, if a repository used a shared pipeline, and the pipeline contains a repository variable (like in the video, there is SonarQube variable). Will it use the same repository variable defined value from the imported repository or we need to define the variable on each repository?

Hi, you'll have to define the repo variables in each repo.
